   Amazing family friendly pub lovely landlady so helpful and friendly me and my daughter have been too a few event and landlady and staff are amazing and nice Halloween party was amazing me and my daughter and family had a good time also

It’s right in the middle of everything and has that classic, honest pub atmosphere that modern spots just can't replicate. This is a place for great fun, great life, and they pull a proper, good beer. The vibe is exactly what a true community pub should be. A crucial heads-up: If you're local, you're golden—you'll feel right at home. If you're not from the area and you don't understand that unique Wythenshawe spirit, then maybe keep out of their way.    The Birch was my favourite local, alas no more. A change of management has foolishly in my opinion allowed previously banned undesirables back onto the premises resulting in a plethora of unwanted activities. (It's all there on the CCTV). I no longer feel comfortable on the premises anymore further confirmed by the management constantly promoting the newly installed 'bleed kit'. I fear it will be well used. Perhaps some of the previously loyal, money spending regulars share my point of view. Perhaps not.

   Same as it was the last time I was in about 12yrs ago Same Old faces Good old fashioned pub only thing that changed was the prices 3 Bottle's of holt Manchester was £5 now £9 I can live with that
