Firstly, a huge THANK YOU to the staff for today, you were truly delightful!!! Walking in you immediately feel at home and welcomed, being greeted with smiles and attentiveness from the off-set. Such a beautiful setting to start a great day. You feel a world away from the hustle an bustle of a big city like Manchester in the country pub decor and that's before your even seated. The food offering is one to do Greenking exceptionally proud for the care, dedication and attention to great flavour in cooking that will elevate even the simplest of produce. The Sunday roast me and my friends have just had was out of this world!! Just over £9 for a plate to satisfy any appetite with tentatively cooked greens, twice cooked roast potatoes, creamy mashed fresh potatoes with a serving of beef silverside that sends your taste buds into a spin accompanied by the perfect Yorkshire pud. All of this an award to the quality and skill of the chef who cooked it. The whole visit was magical and was the true highlight to an amazing day with lifelong friends, and we send our heartfelt thanks to the staff ❤

The food here is outstanding and Really good value as well. This is a real friendly locals pub and the atmosphere is lively yet relaxing at the same time. I’ve recently become a regular at this Pub and it is like a home from home. All the staff also accommodating.

Food was decent & great value Gents needs some TLC Really heavy metal/grung music playing, really spoit my visit tbh as it was playing for a good hour ½. Had me on edge & couldnt relax. Shame as it felt like a half decent friendly local.

Cheap and cheerful pub food. Great value standard pub food. Good offers, friendly welcome. Slow service ( don't order a starter , because they then forgot our mains!) 5 minutes walk from Britannia airport hotel of you're doing hotel and park.

Amazing pub! Great location cheap prices and food is above what I expected! Came with my partner and we both left with our expectations exceeded! Our server was excellent and the bar staff were polite and helpful! Will definitely be returning!

Just back from having a meal here. Seriously impressed with the chicken and bacon salad. Large bowl, lovely dressing, moist chicken (and lots of it) and plenty of bacon. My partner and daughter had steak and ale pie and cheese pie. The pastry tasted homemade, filling generous and the chips were amazing - crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. We had to wait a while gor our food but weren't bothered because when it arrived it was so worth the wait. First time eating here but definitely not the last.

Great backyard. Spacious enough for a large gathering. Kids menu was awesome. Under 4 pounds and got lots of food. Beer price was affordable and wide variety. Can't wait to return on Sunday for the Sunday meals. Oh, and the staff was very friendly. I am just a guy passing through the village with two Kids and was lucky enough to have eight days to explore the wonder of the area.

My God! The best katsu chicken in the world, come regularly and think it's fantastic. However it was cooked and served by the new landlord and was incredible! Presentation was on point!
