   ​I visited this evening for a few drinks and was deeply disappointed by the service. The blonde lady with short hair was hostile toward me from the moment I approached the bar, an attitude my friend confirmed. This occurred within the first five minutes of our arrival and was totally inexplicable given my polite exchange of "please and thank you's." ​I felt so uncomfortable that I sent my friend to order the second round. He, a person of a different background than me, received a noticeably better level of service. It sadly appeared that this was the reason why.

   Standard Hyde's pub with a decent menu and drinks choices. Food was cooked well. Recommend the appetisers, particularly the squid bites. Price wise it's not too bad either. Pub itself is very nice. Outdoor area very pleasant looking too. Worth a shot.

   Very impressed. Visited on a Sunday and took advantage of the 'Sunday Offer' menu which is £15.95 for two courses. Considering the size and quality of the meals this really is fantastic value. All food was excellent. Special mention to the girls waiting on, who were friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.

   1st time visiting this place since moving bk into the area. The Chops were absolutely divine, large and succulent! I also met two friendly, lovely ladies who are regulars. Will definitely be taking a trip bk between now & Christmas. ⛄ Nice atmosphere & staff too.

   I'm changing my review: The pub area is good, very good service and the people are nice. However, I have been here 3 times for food, each time the service could have been better. The food has been slightly undercooked, hard chips etc..I did the British thing and just ate them and went off to moan on the internet... It's normally a Good pub
