   I purchased recently from Halfords store in Handforth Dean branch . The staff and manager were very helpful and efficient. I purchased 622GW Nextbase dash cam to upgrade from my 422W. The manager obliged be giving me a price match of 10% discount against Nextbase online , which was well received on asking for on payment . Very happy and pleased I upgraded to a higher spec model .

   I took my road bike in for repair a couple of weeks ago, the technicians are really good & helpful. The repair took a bit longer than anticipated due to a part supplier issue but they reduced their labour costs because of the delay, so I can’t fault them. Halfords don’t make it easy to contact individual stores but that is a head office issue. The website isn’t good either but the technicians at Cheadle Hulme are good lads.

   Excellent Customer Service by Lewis at the Heald Green Store. We ordered a bike for my sons birthday and he advised that a larger size may be more suitable. He arranged to return of the smaller bike and provided us guidance on a bike that was similar but a more appropriate size. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for him.

   Attended the Halfords in Handforth yesterday at 15:45 with my 9-year old son in order to have a new bulb fitted in one of my headlights. I had booked a slot but the work probably started 10 mins later as it turned out that the bulb I had paid for beforehand wasn't the right type to match the other headlight. The bulb I ended up with was £4 cheaper than the one I had paid for and a refund was swiftly arranged and has already been received into my bank account! The fitting of the bulb was carried out really quickly whilst I waited and all members of staff were really friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services, thank you!

   Halfords XS car cover for the MX5 Mk3.5 Kendo. Took seconds to fit! Very snug and just what I wanted. Easy to get off...fun to fold away and get back in the carry bag. So much better than the cheaper and more expensive alternatives. Fleece lining will avoid any paint damage. Ideal for autumn and winter to protect the hood.

   Came in for front and rear bulb replacement, the young man who changed and fitted the bulbs I think his name was Josh, his name certainly began with a J was efficient, knowledgeable and a credit to Halfords. He explained that he had been doing this job for less than a year which surprised me as he was extremely competent. Thank you and great work.

   New battery for my Subaru, walked in on spec, several people waiting for bulbs or wipers to be fitted, watched the mechanic sort them all, swiftly with a smile, then my battery fitted within the hour. Good choice of batteries, good price, great service. Very happy to recommend Halfords Cheadle

   Person who sold us the bike was very nice and helpful. When we went back to collect it woman was more interested in talking on her headset than checking if bike was ok. Taken it out for first time today and back brakes are constantly on and seat is far too low for my son to ride. Rubbish!!

He was very patient and nothing was too much trouble as we compared different items. If I need anything else from Halfords I will certainly try to be served by him, a real asset to the store.
