Popped in on Christmas eve for one last gift. The staff were clearly busy, but they were smiley and still working hard. I saw them have to deal with some quite 'stressed' shoppers, yet they kept their cool and were professional at all times.
Nice shop and in the main friendly staff. They don't have a huge amount of stock or sizes but you can pick up your online orders from here.
Came in this evening on men’s wear. No staff to be seen. Found someone and asked politely if they worked here. To which she replied “yeah” and sort of laughed as though to say well yeah. Just think it’s a bit rude. I asked about a shirt, apparently all they had was slim fit, but she never offered to check anyway just in case or try and see if anywhere had standard fit. (Girl with red hair)
Its like a maze, no order to the stock its like a market, difficult to find the payment desk, staff don't know how to communicate. I went to pay for 2 small items but needed a carrier bag because it was raining, "we haven't got any carriers left" the assistant said. I said I needed a carrier so I was offered a massive one which was far too big so I declined, there was an awkward pause...I repeated "I need a carrier", the answer was "you can go 't' kids"....I asked what she meant by that and she explained that there is another payment desk round the corner in the children's section.....so much effort to get a result.
Store great toilets an issue only two choices one marked disabled / baby changing and one labelled female. Asked the assistant and told they where the only toilets get the label changed on the door. !!!
Extremely rude and patronising manager Lucy . Doesn’t follow correct , legal returns policy and smirking when I discussed this with her . Asked to speak to manager and was shocked to hear she was the manager . Not at all professional for a NEXT store .
This shop is all over the place, im put off going , not enough staff always waiting for parcels and you can tell the staff arnt happy because of the lack of organisation from managing area.
Great customer service in particular from Angele and Laura in houshold dept, went above and behond to help us. Thank you both a credit to the company.
So disappointed with this store. Every time I go to collect my parcels using the click & collect point. It always seems like they don’t have enough staff or they are just not prioritising this service. Today after waiting 20 minutes I asked a staff member to help me, she said she’d go get my parcels straight away only for her to go get my parcels and other customers at the same time and started handed them out before serving me even though I’d been waiting 20 minutes and I was before them. The click & collect service is meant to be a quick and easy way to get your order. Unfortunately this never seems to be the case in this store. This isn’t the first time this has happened.
