I went to Boundary Stone today for lunch and was charged for chips but did not get them. The reason why, I ordered a gluten free steak and cheese sandwich that came with chips. I couldn't eat the chips because other food items were cooked in the fryer that were not gluten free, this was told to me by the male bar staff. When I suggested I don't pay for the chips, he told me they can not discount the chips. How unfair just because of my gluten free allergy

What a wait - told 40 mins waiting time for food eventually arrived after 1 hour, no apologies for long wait from server. Also people (regulars) came in after us and ordered food and got served before us. Need more staff and a smile wouldn't go amiss for current staff.

We absolutely loved our afternoon/evening here! There were a few of us and we all enjoyed our food too. All staff were lovely but particularly one called Ellicia who was really nice to us.

Had a fantastic time at the Boundary stone! The atmosphere was great, and the service made it even better. A special shout-out to Ellicia, who was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. She really went above and beyond β weβll definitely be back soon!

The pub was absolutely heaving so we knew there would be a wait...fully expected. The table was very sticky so we asked for it to be wiped over...he left it soaking so I got some tissues out of my bag and wiped it ....it was filthy dirty. I complained at the bar and was told it was an old table and the varnish was coming off. No..it was dirty because they don't wash with hot soapy cloths. I worked in health and hygiene..its the only way to clean properly. Eventually 2 of the 3 meals came. I waited and waited for mine which finally came when the other 2 were half way through theirs. Luckily all the meals were very tasty and hot. We would all have them again without hesitation. The staff were very busy and worked hard. The family on the next table had 2 dogs with them which barked constantly...very annoying.

I recently visited this pub for a works Christmas party. The manager was very helpful in our requests and his team did an amazing job on preparing, serving and cleaning our tables throughout our visit. The Christmas menu was basic but tasty and the desserts are delightful. I can only hope their work team has a great Christmas party just like we did!!

Great pub with a great atmosphere. Perfect for all ages and families. The staff are lovely and so is the food!! We take our six year old son for his tea once a week and he loves it, especially when he gets such super service with a lovely smile from Macey. Thanks to all of the staff, youβre all fab.

Called for a bite to eat, wasn't disappointed. Staff were welcoming and friendly, even saved me money via the grazer deal which I hadn't noticed. Food was yummy, we will be returning. Thank you

I have been to Boundary Stone before a few years back. Remembered it being very pleasant, but the menu seemed better this time round. They have built out a bit too - not just indoors near the pub, but an outdoor airier section with a poole table. This was a roudy place being a Friday night so we found a table indoors. Very cosy. Although they warned us there was a delay on food orders of up to 45 minutes, the delay was well worth the taste of the food. We each ordered different things - chicken tikka with rice, papadom and naan bread; battered fish chips and mushy peas; vegan dish and more. And we also ordered desserts. My word - the desserts can make a meal in themselves! It was a busy night indeed, but we enjoyed their food very much. Would go back
