    Clothes were good but the one thing I can’t stand is when your employees can’t even smile or say thankyou when serving you. Customer service 1* but due to a swift response on here I have put it up to a 3*

    Nice to find a place that actually has jeans that fit me. However the sizing of the other clothes is all over the place. Some stock is labelled 12,14 etc but other S,M,L. I've found that they are not even correct to the label. Some medium tops are far bigger than the large. There is rarely a member of staff in sight on the shop floor. Having them work both the tills and shop floor at the same time is unfair and almost impossible for them to prevent shoplifting or actually serve customers.

    Worst Matalan I’ve been to. I will NOT be returning it was like a jumble sale!!! However this wasn’t the worst part, the smell throughout the store was unbearable. Save yourself the trip and get yourself to m&s never been disappointed there!

    I bought pack of 5 tractor t shirt and legging on last Sunday at store. The size i looking for ( t-shirt 9-12 and leggings 6-9) and that’s show on the hanger. I took everything off, through my recipe and wash them, saw all the size on the clothes was wrong t-shirt was 0-3 and legging 3-6 Spend 24 pounds for it then baby can’t wear it.

    Matalan in Leeds city centre has a good variety of cloths. This store has two floors where you can find not only men's, women's and kid's clothing but house hold products as well. The only downside is that it is self check out, which is on the lower floor. So if you do the shopping on the top floor you have to take it down to check out. And some of the staff are impolite. When asked about where to make the payment the answer from the girl I spoke to was only one word 'downstairs'.

    This was a fantastic store to go shopping at, where everything is laid out well in various areas! Navigating around was easy using the signs and I purchased a leopard plant on offer for just Β£3, buying it at one of the many tills. The lady who served me was friendly, adding to the atmosphere that the cleanliness contributed to!

    I returned some clothes and they refunded the cost reduced, Β£9.5 less than the price we paid. Despite I expressed my thoughts that something probably is wrong, they said that everything is fine since the transaction becomes through the system. Comparing the receipts in home I realised that half of the prices refunded reduced. I had to come back in store again, with two babies, to show them the receipts and ask them to compare the prices, too. The manager was very polite, though. They accepted their fault, but I personally will never trust the store again. That was really disappointing and unfair.
