We use this place regularly has only live a few doors away and never had any issues with there food. Only thing I'm not keen on is the potatoe Fritters the potato is always hard but everything else is very tasty and always hot..

Great takeaway experience. Ordered chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce, roast pork chow mein and stir fried mixed vegetables with prawns. Great portion sizes free prawn crackers. Cannot fault it good to know that there is a great takeaway in Widnes. Great job!
loved the chippy honestly. great quality and the chips were fab. curry made it even better i would 100% order again i am never disappointed from river queen, it’s lush

lovely food. salt and pepper chicken wings were delectable, amazing portion sizes and gorgeous chips! Curry sauce was absolutely perfect, along with the gravy.

I went there tonight, not my usual takeaway but i thought i would give it a try. It looked very displeasing as i entered but i thought i would still try it. I had a chips and peas which was £2.50 which was quite expensive when i got home as i started eating there was a hair in the food and it was revolting. Left me feeling very sick definetely not coming back any time soon!
