   I couldn't fault the service in the slightest it was my parents car that I booked in for a replacement tyre to be fitted. Sadly there was an issue with the tyre that I had ordered for it something to do with the tread not matching what was on already and you guys called to explain and sourced another one with in a couple of hours I really think that is fantastic service and I will 100% be using ATS again in the future warmest regards for Christmas to your staff regards Carl

   I bought 4 new wheels for my Volvo C30 from this company, including fitting. The problems started right away: when I arrived to have them fitted, they only had 3 wheels in stock, so I had to waste my time and come back on another day. After the fitting and balancing, I experienced a strong vibration in the steering wheel at speeds over 50 mph. At first, I thought it might be an issue with my suspension, and since I had an MOT scheduled the following week, I decided to wait. During the MOT, I asked about the vibration, and I was told that the front wheels needed to be checked for balancing. It turned out that the balancing had been done incorrectly, and the number of weights was much higher than it should have been. The rear wheels were also checked and had the same issue. In other words, all 4 wheels were poorly balanced. After the problem was corrected at this service, the car drove properly without any vibration in the steering wheel. I filed a complaint, but their response was that a weight could have fallen off the wheel while driving, which supposedly caused the imbalance, and they refused to refund me for their poor work. Be cautious before visiting this service!!!

   Had two services done here, first one no issues. Recent one I was advised I needed new brake discs/ pads, estimated over £200 of work. Didn't sit right so I went to a trusted mechanic and was told they were just under half worn. Disappointed with what I see as a deliberate attempt to upwell, and especially as the guys were friendly and helpful. Won't be back as a result.

   I purchased a full set of tyres on line and booked an appointment for fitting. On arrival we were spoken to by a pleasant member of staff who advised us they were running a little behind but would start the work shortly. We left the car and went for a coffee. On our return the job was almost completed and finished within a few minutes. The price was competitive and I achieved a good discount.

   I recently had tyres fitted at ATS and unfortunately, a sensor on my car was damaged during the process. To their credit, the garage staff — I believe their names were Mal and Abs — were friendly and helpful at the time and did try to resolve the issue. Since they couldn’t fix it themselves, they referred me to an official MINI dealer. I was charged nearly £190 for the repair and was told that ATS would reimburse me. I was assured the reimbursement would be processed within 7-10 working days. However, it has now been over two weeks and I’ve still received no payment. I’ve made multiple attempts to follow up, but getting in contact has been extremely difficult — they almost never answer their phone, and I’ve had no replies to messages. While the staff I dealt with were professional and courteous in person, the communication since then has been very poor. I’m disappointed with how this situation has been handled and expected more responsibility from a professional garage. Nearly 4 weeks later, I have finally received my refund. I would like to mention again that the staff I dealt with were pleasant but the communication or lack there of was incredibly frustrating. Based on this experience, I would be reluctant to return or recommend their services.

   Had four tyres fitter at this branch by Jack. I was in an older car, but it could have been a brand new Rolls-Royce as I felt that I was looked after as if I was a VIP. Managers take note, Jack is a great asset to your company. He gives service with a smile. Excellent advice and he's very enthusiastic and definitely a future branch or regional manager in the making.

   Took our car in for Annual Service and MOT 3 days ago working perfectly. Since getting the car back, car has broken down 3 times and can't make it to the end of the road. Manager at Bredbury is lying and claims the car already had a misfire when it was brought in. If that is the case, why were we not informed when you rang to say the brakepads need changing? (work that we approved to be done). Nothing to state this issue on the vehicle health check received via email other than a mention of the spark plug for no apparent reason. Manager stated on the phone, "There is no way we are taking responsibility", without even looking at the car. Opened a complaint with head office but takes up to 7 working days to resolve so left without a car in the meantime. Trading Standards case opened and a load of messing for us. Avoid if you value your time and vehicle.
