   Halfords charge similar prices to the dealerships, however, the service does not feel as personalised. For example, dealerships will also give your car a clean as part of the service package, offer a curtesy car if you are dropping off, as well as provide you with a detailed list of everything that was checked and the outcome. The confirmation I got was more of an itemised receipt confirming service and oil change, no further information was included. I will still use Halfords for the convenience - easy to book with and proximity to my residence

   Been to Halfords Middleton for the first time today for a service that was included in a package when I bought the car. Must say was very impressed with the staff and the service despite all the bad things people told me about it. Very quick service car back within 2 hours and was so impressed I booked my MOT with them in September. Would recommend to everyone

   I am very happy with the service. They explained what needed repairing when my car failed its mot and did the repairs very quickly. All staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I was kept informed from first minute to picking my car up. The cost of work done was reasonably good.

   Unfortunately unable to help much within my required timescale, so suggested driving over another branch of Halfords unannounced 'as they'll be more likely to say yes that way'. I pointed out that I'd very much just tried that a few seconds ago without success... Used the website to find an available slot at the Rochdale branch. The staff member was perfectly polite, just of absolutely no help.
