   Had to replace a low beam bulb on my Mokka, but I couldn’t do it myself(couldn’t remove the covering cap). So, I forked out £20 for Halford’s fitting service in Bolton, the parts were ready for me when I arrived, and the fitter took about 10 minutes, no more, to fit two bulbs. Halford’s website offers a discount for two bulbs, and recommends replacing both at the same time, so I did opt for that. Brilliant service, no complaints whatsoever.

   My partner and I popped into our local Halfords branch in Bolton today. We were met at the counter by Jack, a very, polite and helpful young man. He was very knowledgeable and managed to helped us with our query. There should be more Jack's in the world.

   Good service today. Was given the correct component for the car which was expertly fitted by two excellent technicians at the Bolton Halfords (at about midday on 12 October 2025). Very pleased with the service and the approach of the staff which was efficient and professional. Whilst I was having the part fitted, staff warned another driver that her front tyre was low. They pumped it up to the correct level before letting her go. This is very good service. Thank you.

   I would like to thank the young man who sorted my bulb in fiat 500. Advised me 2 of my tyres needed pressure which he did kindly and recommended I get 1 tyre replaced before my MOT. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I'm in retail myself and its so nice when you feel happy with your service. Please thank the young man he will remember

   I have been paying for a premium every month and as a premium membership you get free MOT once a year. I have take the car for MOTand failed so after repair I took it back to check and I have been charged £27.50 because this is how it is. If your car don't pass it straight away than you have to pay after repairs. What an absolute joke and rip off. Can't believe it.

   Absolutely shocking. The poor member of staff went looking for my item which I was told was ready to collect wasn't even there. I was asked if I wanted to reorder I declined this. Customer services were not the best either, they were as helpful as a chocolate kettle. I will not be shopping here ever again. They are lucky they are getting 1 star.

   Ordered number plates online and turned up at store for them.Told new reel need loading on machine.Waited round to then be told that assistant was to busy to do it.Hardly anybody in store?He couldn’t be bothered simple.Shocking service won’t be back.

   I needed a headlight bulb replacing and having tried Halfords White City and Halfords Chester Road Manchester who were either unable or unwilling to replace the bulb, I went here on my way home. Guess what? They were able to change the bulb because the people in the store had the skills and capability. From appalling service in Manchester to great service in Bolton. It just shows that, there is no standard in the Halfords brand, but if you roll the dice and are lucky, you’ll get great service from great people
