   eurgh this has gone downhill :( used to be brilliant in the days Nancy was there. Now, small portions, super hot taste the chilli powder curry and horrible chips. Sad but no longer worth the money

   The smallest portions of food I have ever had in my life....unbelievable..."bag" of prawn crackers must have contained about 10! Chow mein...the tiniest portion you have ever seen! No chips no rice with any main meal!

   Not a bad Chinese however I did ask for thin egg noodles and received soft egg noodles, also asked for another pot of the chilli beef sauce bit got garlic chilli sauce. Other than that I ate it and was decent enough

   I have been going to Wans (Nancys) for over 20 years and the food has slowly reduced in terms of quality. I ordered 5 meals last night and was astonished that the cost was just short of £50 I then noticed that they have now decided that none of their meals come with rice or chips, even though they have kept the price the same. Sadly I wont be coming back, the Acropolis meals are just as good and much cheaper as they include the rice and chips. I feel Wans need to look seriously at their money grabbing price restructure £10 for a bog standard takeaway is a joke

   Such good food!!! Although I kinda wish I'd known that the portions were massive in advance, me and my partner appear to have been left with the next week's meals already planned because we had a LOT of leftovers - not that I consider that a bad thing, of course. The food was lovely, still! Although the chips could have done with some more salt, I'll admit.

   Just spent £26 on a few dishes as the reviews here seemed good for the place but i am so disappointed. Food is bland, needed lots of salt to taste even slightly better. Greasy watery taste to the fried rice and chicken batter balls. The BBQ sauce taste like gravy, nothing remote BBQ about it at all. For the £26 total price got a bag of prawn crackers (if you can call it that) containing all of about 8 - 10 prawn crackers that looked stale. If only they did not shut as i got home i would have gone back for a refund. Will not be returning and think the reviews here are from people who have just come out the local pub and not sure what they are eating as it is disgusting. You know its bad when even the dog refuses to eat it.
