   I can highly recommend Norton Motor Services. They fitted a new cam belt & MOT / new tyres yesterday. All the staff are lovely & very helpful. They were recommended to me by a friend so I'm recommending them to others.

   Avoid like the plague! Turned up only to be moaned at by the lady on reception for being 30 mins late even though I explained I was stuck on the motorway as there had been an accident and I was coming from the other side of Manchester. I asked the mechanic to take a look at my clutch but he wasn't interested but said he'd take it for a quick test drive... he didn't. After I saw him fix my window switch he just dropped the car next to the reception door. I asked the rude lady on reception about the mechanic giving my car a test drive to see what was wrong with the clutch but she just said you have not booked it in for that... even though it would have only taken a minute for the mechanic to test drive the car. I just left shocked at the service of this place and drove straight to my local Garage, straight away they had a look at my car no problem and I booked it in the following week for a new clutch. Wouldn't recommend using this garage at all, I'm glad I don't live in the area and can use other garages that are friendly and do a decent job. I also work in customer service myself and would give them zero stars if I could.

   I came across this place last month whilst struggling to get a MOT done for a car I was selling. They fitted me in and although it failed, they managed to get it back the next day to replace the trailing arm bushes at a very reasonable price. Would definitely use again. Thanks.

   Absolutely great hidden gem these guys know there stuff , had new rear wishbones fitted and a full oil change on my Rangerover L322 , never used before , didn’t know it existed ! Thanks guys I will be back in the future

   I’ve lived in Tameside for 45 years, used most garages for MoTs and services. Don’t look any further than here, they’re the best by far. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else from now on!… and trust me I’ve used them all..

   Very honest. I took my wife’s mini to Norton’s for a service which was reasonably priced, during the service they brought to my attention that there was a water leak, this made perfect sense as we had recently topped it up twice and could not figure why and where from we were losing water from.On investigation I was told the water was coming from the thermostat housing unit and this part could only be purchased direct from bmw so biting the bullet I said yes go ahead with the job. but after running various tests on the car they found the problem and fixed it, they told me it was a small seal close to the thermostat housing unit which then was replaced, saving me a considerable amount of money I would of been none the wiser if they had gone ahead and put a new thermostat housing unit in. Because Norton’s were so honest I will continue to take mine and my wife’s vehicles there. Thank you for your hard work.

   I have been using this business for quite a number of years now and have always been very satisfied. I was recommended to them by the equally excellent Anthony Lewis cars around the corner and have since then got my MOT's done here, services and any repairs or anything I wanted to be checked out. Always receive friendly, courteous service, fair pricing and never had any issues at all. Chatting to the owner yesterday I can see why they are so successful - he has an excellent approach to customers and to business and is in a very small minority of business people in this country who don't just look at the short term. he wants to keep you happy so you will keep coming back and tell other people about his business. A rare and intelligent view of how to run a business. Good luck to him as he deserves his success and I. for one, will not be taking my car anywhere else any time soon.
