    Fish and chips. Fish, very nice, crisp and good white fish. Chips - possibly the worst chips I've evet tasted. Small, with little potato, mostly hard outer crisp. More crisp than potato. How can a chippy get chips wrong???!! Woman serving was polite and lovely. If anyone out there can direct me to a chippy that uses real potatoes will you leave me a message please?

    £18.50 for an empty spice box and FOOD POISONING?? Hardly any food in the spice box. Worth maybe £11, additionally the sui mai was raw. The whole house has food poisoning. Avoid.

    Ordered salt and pepper pork, what I got was cardboard in a pasty batter, half a slice of onion and a tiny piece of green pepper that got stuck in my teeth I was that small. As for the taste it was a sprinkle of salt to hide the taste of the cardboard. First and last time.

    Been going to New Century for years. Have just ordered fir the first time in a while and the food was even better than it was. Staff are lovely and always friendly when I go in and the phone order came today in under half an hour. Vermicelli was fresh and not greasy, salt and pepper ribs are gorgeous and I recommend the char Sui noodle soup. My favourite chippy.

    AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. This is the worst chinese I've ever had, half a duck which was sliced and served in box, great however, was dry and tasteless seemed as tho it had been reheated in microwave!! Hoisin sauce was very watery as was the curry sauce! Beef fried rice was cold dry abs flavourless. Chips were nice tho

    Good meals but noticed the last 4 visits despite getting EXACTLY the same order each time price has been different ranging from £9.80 to £10.90 Just can't work it out. Questioned it when they said £10.90 and she said sorry.and gave me 50p back! But meals are good hence 4 stars

    Chips really really greasy and tasted very strange. ordered meat spring rolls got vegetarian ones instead . ordered crispy wontons ended up with cremated ones . also ordered s&p chicken wings more like sugar wings smelt very sweet and the sausage dinner even my dog refused to touch it . had some decent meals from here in the past, but has really disappointed me , will avoid in future
