Chips are awful hard and fishcake hard lumps in them ! gone done the nick it used to be nice in here so don’t know what happened and bit off attitude of owner if you’re not spending loads doe !!!
I ordered and paid for my husband anf myself for a delivery at 6.30 on 01/11/25 for which my account was debited. I ordered on line as we are both suffering with covid and we're unable to pick up ourselves. 10 minutes after ordering we received a phone call saying that they would not be able to deliver because liverpool were playing at home and the roads get closed where we live. I explained that they won't be closing the roads until 7.30 and that we both had covid and if they cant deliver can they refund so we could order somewhere else. The very rude lady I spoke to said you can cancel but don't know when you will be refunded if at all and if you want it then you will.have to collect. Once again I said we had covid but we will have to come and collect. Considering she was arguing about roads being closed we got there in under 10 minutes. When we got there after being told the food would be ready when I politely asked how long would i be waiting she barked.at me I dont know there are 8 orders in front of you. I said it's just I don't feel very well as I have covid and she started shouting all over the place that she has copd and ordered me to stand outside. I was totally humiliated and just wanted to walk off. After about a further 10 minutes the lovely girl I always see there shouted me to get my food. When I went in to collect it I had this other woman glaring at me. I always use this shop as the food is great and the staff are lovely but this arrogant and very rude woman working there will make me think twice about me or any of my family using this shop again. Also we were charged service charge etc and Considering we had to pick it up ourselves we are also out of pocket. In case you are wondering my order details are 4733562.
Got some salt pepper chicken pieces and it wasn't great...some pieces were just batter or very little chicken.

Been coming here for years, but lately it's been bad, food missing, drinks missing but today was the worst...hair all over the rice, rang up and was asked what did I want to do about it ....
The best chip shop in Liverpool and I have tried almost all of them it is the only place that pusts your gravy or curry on the bottom of the tray and then on the top as well don't believe me give it a go :)
No matter what time of day the chips are always warmed up I suppose that if they made chips fresh more customers would visit I suppose it relies on match day visitors who only visit once. Will have to do the same although only live 5 minutes away will not visit again the place will never change. For once try cooking the chips fresh you might get customers. I live 5 minutes away and the chips were not one bit fresh (warm ups) ordered chicken sweetcorn soup the soup was like dish water and the prawn crackers were greasy an well overcooked do not recommend this chippy anymore whatsoever
