Came here after a service needing a new battery and a few other things. Friendly service and very straightforward. Work completed the same day and transparent pricing. Vehicle is driving smoothly; very satisfied with the service!
I’ve used A6 Autos on numerous occasions for a range of different reasons. I’ve had a battery replaced, coolant drained and refilled, break oil changed, motors fixed, vehicle MOT’d and so much more. Every single time I’ve took the car, waited for a call which is normally on the same day to advice its ready for collection, paid a very fair price in comparison to other garages, received all the paperwork I required without even having to ask and drove away happy every single time. A6 Autos is by a mile my favorite garage in the whole of Stockport, all the staff are extremely friendly, have a great sense of humor, share a similar passion for vehicles and do an extremely fantastic job in giving you peace of mind. I heard they’re even planning to give out bags of chocolate to their customers in good spirit for Christmas. Putting it simply, if you want an easy, peace of mind, fair, hassle free process, without being ripped off, without having to worry about your vehicle all whilst being treated like a valuable customer and sharing the banter of the guys behind the shutters, there’s no place better than A6 Autos.
Went to the garage with a problem with my windscreen motor and they had fixed it straight away no fuss straight to the point with what the problem was, customer service is exceptional from gav Dave in the office really helpful and full of character! Highly recommend to everyone in the Stockport area!
Took my car in for an Mot. Very friendly and helpful bunch of guys. Unfortunately, the car failed, but they went through what was wrong and quoted a reasonable price for the work. I do my own car repairs and servicing, but they didn't try to pressure me to have them do the work. Went back for the retest and everything was great. Will be using them for my Mot's in future, as they're honest and helpful. Recommend if you need an honest estimate for repairs.
I’ve used A6 Autos several times now and every experience has been absolutely faultless — from booking in to collection. The service is always professional, reliable, and fair. Special mention to Dave and Gav, who consistently go above and beyond. They’re honest, straightforward, and make you feel completely confident that your car’s in good hands. I’ve never been pressured into extras or upsold things I don’t need — just solid, trustworthy work every time. It’s so rare these days to find a garage that combines technical know-how with great communication and genuine respect for their customers, but A6 Autos get it right every time. Wouldn’t take my car anywhere else in Stockport now. Highly recommended.
These guys saved me this week. After BMW screwed up, I needed to get to work for 9am as I’m a medic for the NHS on my first week of work. MOT had expired and they got me in at 0715am to get it sorted, and it was done within an hour. AMAZING service. Thank you guys. I’ll be back

Fantastic garage, used them twice now, once for a service and then today, had an urgent problem with my car, it was just a small issue and they fixed it straight away and didn't even charge.
