I recently visited a local garage to repair a punctured tyre, and the experience was extremely disappointing. They looked friendly and acted like they were trying to help, but the pricing was completely unclear. Nothing was explained at the entrance — no mention of how much a repair would cost, and no mention of any inspection fee if the tyre couldn’t be fixed. After checking the tyre, they told me it couldn’t be repaired, which I understood. But even though no work was done, they still tried to charge me £15. A normal repair only costs a little over £10, yet I was being asked to pay more for absolutely nothing. In the end, the staff member pretended to “give me a discount” and charged £10, saying they needed to cover wages. I fully understand businesses have costs, but charging customers without doing any real service feels unacceptable. To me, this garage felt like a dishonest place with non-transparent fees — they just name whatever price they want once you’re inside. A proper garage should clearly state all charges upfront: how much it costs if the tyre can be repaired, and how much (if any) they charge if it can’t. Based on my experience, I strongly do not recommend going to this garage. I don’t want others to lose money the way I did. If you really have to go, make sure you confirm every price before they touch your car.

I recently visited a local garage to repair a punctured tyre, and my experience was extremely disappointing. I went in expecting a simple tyre repair, but no one explained the prices beforehand. After checking the tyre, they told me it couldn’t be repaired — which I understood. However, even though no work was done and nothing was replaced, they still charged me £15. Normally, a successful tyre repair only costs a little over £10, yet somehow I ended up paying £15 for absolutely nothing. In the end, the staff member pretended to “give me a discount” and charged £10 instead, and even tried to justify it by saying they “have to pay staff wages.” I completely understand businesses have costs, but charging customers for no actual service feels unreasonable and unfair. Based on my experience, I strongly do not recommend this garage. The pricing wasn’t transparent, and the charges felt questionable. If you still decide to go, make sure you ask clearly about all fees before they do anything — otherwise you may end up paying for nothing.

After damaging a tyre and rim on a kerb, there was only one place I could bring it. I've used this place on numerous occasions and have had excellent, friendly service from everyone. Pav is amazing! He kept me constantly updated with options, what he was doing and went above and beyond to help get my family car back on the road as soon as possible, whilst working on other jobs at the same time. Can't recommend this place enough.

I went there to repair one tire. The tire has been punctured by a pin on the middle of the face. I went there at about 9AM. Then I got service instantly. there was no queue. The repair was about 20 minutes. The cost is £20 which is a fair price. The quality is good. I am happy with the fast service, good repair quality and reasonable price.

Can't recommend Part Worn Warehouse enough! I've brought a few of my cars here and always had the best experience. Pav is the guy to speak to - got a set of winter part worn tyres for my BMW a few months ago and been a blessing in this weather. Recommended them to a friend who I went in with today and had a tyre repaired, once again great service from Pav and the ladies in reception!
