   I can't praise Mellor's enough. Recently my husband died and his undriven car and tyres needed a full check over to ensure that all was OK to drive. Steve and his team - including the reception/office , were fabulously kind and incredibly helpful. Based on my experience today, I wholeheartedly recommend - who knew this kind of service still existed in 2025!

   Good garage, receptionist can get a little aggravated when calling and asking for a quote, prices a bit high. Front brake discs and pads cost me £260.

   My car was brought into Mellor garage for work and was there for a lengthy time due to the nature of the work. Unfortunately whilst my car was in Mellor garage a compact battery booster was stolen from the glovebox. This charger never leaves my car as the car is old and the charger is sometimes needed, I even charge it in the car via the cigarette lighter so it will never be forgotten. I have, just for my peace of mind, searched my entire home and my second car, although pointless, to see if the charger was in fact elsewhere. It wasn’t in which I knew for the reasons stated. I called the owner of the garage when I discovered the charger missing to be told he or any of his boys would not of taken it and all without any investigation or discussion with his staff. I have since contacted the police who have given me a crime reference number but I do not live in hope. BE CAREFUL TO WHAT YOU LEAVE IN YOUR VEHICLE WHEN IT IS AT MELLOR GARAGE FOR WORK.

   I really trust the people at this garage. Everyone, including the receptionist, is friendly and knowledgeable. They don't charge you for unnecessary work and try to keep the costs down. I've been coming here for a few years now with different cars, even when we lived further away. I wouldn't go anywhere else now

   Excellent service on my partner's car. Helpful and fair. Did not do excess work that was not needed when a simple fix was all it needed. Good drop off options in the morning if not open and easy to get too. My partner had good communications with them via the phone and email. Will use these guys again in the future
