   French Connection has been a favourite on the High Street for many years so it was good to find a branch in Meadowhall opposite. The store itself is bright and clean with plenty of room to manoeuvre around between the displays. Lovely products at great prices.

   I’ve been to the Meadowhall store tonight 07/10/2021 and I cannot sing the praises of the lady who served me enough, I am shocking at shopping (I’m a totally failure of a female) I cannot match or pick anything, the lady approached me and took so much time helping me select an outfit for a special occasion, she basically dressed me! She showed me stuff I would have never have looked at and made me feel so much better, stayed with me in the changing rooms and took the time to understand. I wish every store did the same, she was a total diamond.

   Very disappointed with the service received in the Meadowhall shop. I was returning a shirt that my daughter had bought for my birthday which was the day before. She had purchased it 16 days ago and checked it could be returned for a refund when purchasing it. Cloe who turned out to be the manager of the store refused a refund, offered a credit note. Said it was our word against the staff info given to her. I asked to speak to customer services and she wrote the no on a piece of paper for me to ring. I rang them and was immediately told to get a credit note there and then, give customer services the credit note number and they would immediately refund it. They then asked to speak to Cloe. She said she might as well refund me as a ‘goodwill gesture’ to the lady from customer services. She indeed refunded my daughters card but very haughtily and when I said Thankyou and bye didn’t reply and turned her back on us. Not what would be expected from a shop of this calibre at all. Put me off shopping there which is a shame as I have quite a lot of their stuff.

   DO NOT BUY!! Very poor quality clothes. Bought a pair of grey jeans, followed care instructions to a T and dye ran. They couldn't guarantee a refund even if I sent them back, provided with photos. Waste of time and money.
