   Very rude person running the changing room today. Was rude to my other half. Did not offer any help ref to the clothes she was trying on. My other half asked to see if a different size as the rude person did not want help. So, I went to the changing room 2 times on the 3rd time she rudely said that I had to get out I not welcome in that area. So I asked where to signs or store information about this area so I told notice should on wall to left changing room entrance. So we did not buy anything. Overall, the shop looked good 10 out 10 for the shop but 0 out of 0 for this person as she looked she did changing room duty this morning. After working in retail for 33 years, not great service was given.

   Love the clothes. However they charged me twice, were very rude when I queried the 2 pending transactions at the time. Now I am struggling to get a refund. To add insult to injury they left the security tag on the clothing too. I will go online or gateshead next time.

   i made a previous purchase in h&m before i walked into vanilla and was carrying my bag. I briefly walked through the shop floor on the 1st floor, & headed on my way out when the security beeped as a tag was left in h&m bag . I obviously stopped in the doorway and a brown woman comes running shouting ‘ come here now’ twice and the second time even louder and talking to me like a 5 year old and pointing her finger to the floor when i was literally 2 steps in front of her ? Ive never felt so infantalised as i did. Wish i caught her name. If you check someones bag, maybe at least teach your staff to approach them in a manner thats acceptable like other shops in meadowhall do ?

   Beautiful clothers and reasonably priced. I made 4 purchases yesterday 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs. The staff on both floors were lovely. Definitely worth a visit. The only downside is your receipts are sent by email which have not come through. Not a big issue as I love my purchases. But I will phone today as I always keep my receipts.

   I don’t usually leave reviews at places but today I was appalled. The clothes are not the issue it’s the staff!! I was standing waiting in line (28th of February 2023) and the woman at the till completely ignored me and served another woman that cut in front of me in the line. I didn’t speak up because I didn’t want to cause a scene so I instead put back the trousers and walked out. You will not be receiving my business if that’s how staff treats customers, just because I’m a young adult does not mean you respect older women and serve them before me thinking I won’t do anything about it!! Lost a loyal customer here.

   I paid for a sweater for my granddaughter to give to her mum on her birthday, which is 29th December, with my credit card and made sure to get a gift receipt. Today 5th January she went with her mum to return it as it was not suitable. As there was nothing in the store that was long enough for her (she is 6ft) she asked for a refund. But was refused as she didn’t have my card with her. She asked if she called me so that I could give my card details over the phone would they do a refund to my card. They refused. Now I know this is possible. Now I am going to have to make a trip to Meadowhall before Monday 9th to get the refund because although the last date on the gift receipt is 14th that apparently would mean I would only be given a credit note. Jobsworth!!! Will never use that shop again. This should be no stars.
