   I don’t usually leave a bad review but last night I was honestly so disappointed with my order, and judging by some of the reviews on here it doesn’t seem to be a one off for this restaurant. Ordered through Just Eat and the order arrived pretty quick considering it was New Year’s Eve. The food however was absolutely vile, nothing about it indicated it was Chinese food or oriental in anyway. I ordered the crispy chilli beef, it had a fishy taste, absolutely dry as a bone I’ve had better from Iceland. The chicken in the chicken balls were stone cold and you could tell from the batter that they had just been reheated. I received two wrong dishes, and the salt and pepper chips were absolutely laughable, frozen in the middle, with some jalapeños and onions in the bag for good measure. Called the restaurant to tell them their food was wrong/appalling and their response was “Oh well.” Do not ever order from here, there are much better Chinese restaurants in the area

   Worst Chinese food I’ve ever tasted. It wasn’t even chinese or oriental food. I don’t know what it was. Within hours I was ill / being sick & in pain . I called the restaurant but they only spoke Indian and couldn’t understand what I was saying in English which was frustrating . Terrible food. Be careful.

   Ordered on Just Eat at about 10.30pm. Food was supposed to arrive by the latest 11.50pm tell me why the food only arrived 5 flipping minutes ago. I will not recommend this restaurant how could it update and say the restaurant is experiencing orders and my food would be delayed. They gave me an update at 12.09am that it would be here by 12.25am and still could not manage to keep to that. No body spending their money should have to wait over 2 flipping hours for food. Because the restaurant has taken in to many orders. The joke is the restaurant supposedly closed at 11. Does this make any sense to anybody. By all means do not order online from this restaurant. Due to this restaurants behaviour tonight I will now be deleting the just eats app. Because how can they support restaurants that take the mick out of customers like this and have them wait over 2 hours for food. I can only wonder what the in-house experience must be like.

   I have never ever tried so disgusting fries. Beware. They look like they were re-fried. I dont know what happened. They used to have delicious food, but this is not edible

   I ordered at 12:10 and it got delivered at 3:40 I’ve tried calling multiple times but no answer very poor food delivery , tasteless food, dry burnt noodles absolutely horrible DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

   I wish I could give them 0 stars. Not only was the restaurant horrible at communicating when I called them but also they were super rude mentioning they had misplaced my order. After receiving my order 2 hours later (not exaggerating), it was super cold and the quality was super poor. I will DEFINITELY not recommend this restaurant to ANYONE and will not order from them again.

   I ordered via Just eat was advised food would arrive at 515pm it was half an hour late - called the restaurant was told at 530pm chef was late to work my order would be there in 5mins. Unreliable. It turned up at 545pm. The house fried rice is kind of a meal in itself BUT it is definitely NOT a fried rice it was greasy egg fried rice topped with a ton of liquid/oil with exactly 2 bits of chicken beef and prawns and some veg - not nice - the schezuan battererd prawns were awful greasy very salty and disappointing. Well the apple fritters I expected a light crispy apple fritters drizzled in syrup - what I received was a dark greasy mess with no bite to the apple - it was all disappointing - I couldn't eat it but did taste it- the other meal for someone else salt and pepper prawns does not look promising but that's not my meal! The chicken fried rice looked ok. I do not recommend as this is not authentic Chinese food as the name China House suggests. I regret tipping the delivery driver £3 because he did not say thanks. I do not recommend this place- avoid I'm off to drink lemon and ginger tea to deal with what I've just eaten!

   DONT BUY FOOD FROM HERE!! If you’re concerned about food safety and hygiene I wouldn’t order from this place. Ordered from Deliveroo and had to escalate it to their management team. Food was ordered no contact from China House after waiting 2 hours!!. No notification from China House or delivery driver on when they were enroute or at my door, NOTHING! After giving up waiting getting ready to go to bed. As I took the bins out I saw my delivery in the middle of the public walk way filled with insects and slugs. I’ve never seen anything so disgusting in my life. Not to mention my delivery bag was also left open their food is never sealed. Nobody called me or rang my doorbell to say they had arrived! I actually went to the restaurant 2 days after to assess the place myself very dirty not clean at all, only 1 member of staff who seems to not know what he’s doing. Phone is constantly on “BUSY” after calling 10 Times still no answer. Called their phone right in front of him and he didn’t even know their own PHONE wasn’t working?!! What kind of business is able to run like this? I recon this place will be shut down soon. Poor quality food and poor quality customer service!

   Me and my partner ordered from China House on Just Eat at around 12:50 am and the time frame for delivery was between 1:50 am and 2:10 am it's now 3:04 and no sign whatsoever of a delivery driver and tried to call the restaurant countless time but the line was "busy". All the app says is enjoy your meal, when we haven't heard from or seen anyone for now almost an hour. And judging from the other reviews doesn't seem like anyone should order from this Restaurant on whatever app they see it on. Just wish I checked Google before ordering. And now realising the amount of fake reviews China House has on Just Eat is disgusting. Everyone stay away from this restaurant.
