   I normally choose Xins, but they’re closed on Tuesdays. I choose Good Chef based on the ratings on Just Eat, but unfortunately the crispy duck was as non crispy as it could possibly with. The skin was pale and flaccid. The meat was tasteless. The crispy shredded beef was crispy but without any sauce and zero taste. The chow mein was ok, but overall very disappointing. There are better.

   The worst experience EVER! I used to order from this place a few years ago when the lady owner was there. Now it’s being run by some rude young boy who had the patience of a bull in a China shop. The food is cold and small and they ALWAYS forget items that never arrive and they say they can’t bring it and they will discount next time. When the next time rolls around and you mention to them they forgot items off the order last time they completely deny it and say they don’t remember. Stay away as this place is now a very bad choice to order from.

   Ordered through Justeat, was 2 soups, chow mein and rice with chicken. Soups have disgusting texture like you eating jellyfish that are having cold and they are full of snots. Chow mein for some reason had same slime as soups and so over salted, I never tried over salted dish in any takeaway before… apparently chef do not taste the food he/she makes. Rice was ok though, probably because it was plain rice….

   Good price but very disappoint with the order taker, I specifically double checked TWICE if the mixed vegetable dish was a full meal or if you need to buy rice on the side, he confirmed it's a full meal. Upon arrival I saw it was sauce and veg only, far too strong to eat on its own. I called back and he claimed he had said it needed rice all along!! Very disappointed. Poor options for vegetarians as well, wouldn't order again.

   Food is delicious, Good Chef has never let me down. I’ve tried most of the takeaways around Wimbledon and this is one of the best, so now I never order from anywhere else. Food is fresh and delivery is super quick (I’m quite local, always under 30 mins). Decent portion size, great appetisers, and plenty of meat in each dish.

   Food is fine but woman that runs it is extremely rude. Even hungryhouse told me she was very "aggressive" on the phone. Refused to deliver to Wimbledon village even though it was over the minimum order value. Said she would charge extra. They don't deserve the business.

   I used this place for the first time. Never again. The prawn pancakes were dripping in disgusting tasting oil and floppy. The special fried rice was anything but and the beef dinner had hairs in it and a long hair stuck on the lid. I wretched it was that bad. This is a hazard.

   The chow mein was extremely salty. and the beef was tough. The fried rice did not seem to be fried much. However the rest of the food we ordered was good. It tasted freshly cooked (as opposed to other places). that taste like the food had been sitting there for days. I would have rated higher if not for the chow mein.
