Love this place. Food excellent. Salt and pepper crispy squid my fave. Would be nice if they bunged in some free prawn crackers for big orders but apart from that no complaints at all x
I’ve ordered from here for years. I order the exact same thing every time and every time they give a different price. When I asked why the prices keep changing I was accused of lying. Then she said because it’s the cost of living. The lady on the phone started shouting at me and I had the remind her that I’m a customer. She spoke over me after I listened to her explanations. It’s a huge disappointment and out of principle I’ll never order from here again.
ok , this place does alot of things really well , and more than fairly priced. The roast pork & duck meal box is superb. Hong Kong Sweet and Sour is brilliantly crunchy. BUT , for some reason they cannot do a good chow mein. Its awful tbh. If the owner s are reading i would say use a different noodle , dont cut it up into little bits , dont overcook it so its so mushy it doesnt resemble noodles at all when u eat it. Its spectacularly bad and ive tried a couple times but its always the same. the owners are lovely , and i still definitely recomend it , just not the chow mein
The staff are friendly, the prices are great and it’s always delicious! Can’t recommend more. Our favourite local Chinese! They don’t do takeaway, but who cares, it’s worth the trip!
The only thing Chinese in this place are the staff. Just another run of the mill takeaway offering the standard bastardised food that uncolutured brits consider Chinese. Its cheap fast and not Chinese by any means. Save your money and get a 'chinese' ready meal because that's all you can expect here. No flavour, xanthan gum thickener, no spice and a funky feeling after you eat it. How this place has such a high rating can only be explained by the type of people that eat here.
