Positively surprised, good food, decent interior, quick service. Super wide selection of food. Would come back.

We visited this establishment upon the enthusiastic recommendation of a fellow restaurateur, whose praise, like so many fine things in life, proved far more aromatic than the experience itself. The reservation, made by telephone, was accomplished with ease—an ease, alas, that was not to be encountered again. The room into which we were shown possessed all the atmosphere of a parlour that had mislaid its personality. The staff moved about with the stately precision of exquisitely dressed automata, charming only in the way mechanical toys occasionally are. As for the food, it hovered somewhere beneath ground level, a place where culinary hope goes to fade. The prawn sambal offered prawns of commendable freshness, but they were forced to consort with great pale hunks of undercooked onion and a sauce that had not quite found the courage to become itself. The roasted duck, poor creature, had clearly travelled too long in the desert, and the shredded vegetables beside it tasted as though they had been contemplating existence for several days. After two hours of this curious drama, our waiter—who alone seemed afflicted with the noble desire to salvage our evening—asked whether we might be persuaded to move to another table as a party was soon to arrive and required that particular table . His efforts were sincere, but sincerity, while touching, cannot resurrect a fallen soufflé nor restore an evening already lost. We shall not be returning. Some experiences exist only to remind us of the rare beauty of good ones

I order the Hianese chicken and rice and it was absolutely fantastic! Loved every second of it. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the type of place you'd want to sit for a couple hours. The service was superb! The waitress was extremely observant and responsive despite the place being packed full of people. Would highly recommend!

Decent eating place with too many items on their menu. We ordered a HaeMee soup and a Laksa. The Haemee taste not bad but the pork slice dont taste fresh. As for the Laksa the soup tasted fine but a little diluted . It will be nice if it is thicker and more spicy with chilly favour.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Dining Experience! For starters, we had the open spring rolls a type of street food we were told brings good luck when the filling falls onto your plate as you bite into it. Such a lovely concept, and they were absolutely delicious! We can’t wait to return and have them again. With the guidance of the owner and staff, we were able to try a wonderful selection of dishes without feeling overwhelmed. Next came the chicken satay skewers the chicken was incredibly moist, unlike any we’ve had before, and the peanut sauce was so good we couldn’t stop dipping! We also had the salt and chilli king prawns – fresh, large prawns with a light, crispy batter and just the right amount of spice and crunch. Perfectly balanced. For our main course, we indulged in a whole lobster with spring onion noodles. The team even offered to help separate the meat from the shell, which was such a thoughtful touch, but we were excited to give it a go ourselves! The lobster was melt in the mouth tender, coated in a beautifully light, earthy sauce, a WOW dish both visually and in taste. (They also have fresh lobster tanks in kitchen) We also couldn’t resist the sweet and sour chicken and honestly, it was incredible. The best version we’ve ever had! The sauce was perfectly balanced and the chicken was crispy yet tender. To finish, we shared the banana fritters (balls) with ice cream. They were freshly made, hot, crispy, and sweet with a lovely hint of sesame the ice cream paired perfectly with them. The ambience was calm and welcoming, with warm lighting that made it easy to relax. The servers, dressed in traditional wear, added to the authenticity and were incredibly attentive throughout our meal. The food here is true comfort food but made with class and sophistication. This restaurant reminds us why we love eating out and trying new cuisines. Singapore Gardens truly hit the mark with this one we couldn’t fault a single thing and will absolutely be returning for many more dinners! I uploaded the pictures in the photos as was unable to add to this review

Really nice food and friendly staff. Had an authenticity to it which was lovely . We were lucky to order some traditional dishes that we wouldn't have opted for usually but the food was delicious. The staff were funny and friendly and looked after us well with constant attention , our tea cups were never empty ! Definitely worth visiting and will return . Reasonably priced too at under £30 pp .

We booked this Chinese restaurant a week before since I wanted some hainanese chicken. The restaurant was clean and the food was lovely. We all found something that we liked. Me the squid, my friends the char siu but the main highlight for all of us was the Kwai Tew. That was done to perfection! The atmosphere is pretty good and spacious. The service was good and attentive to our needs and gave some good recommendations. Will come again

What can I say, everything we had here was absolutely exquisite! The menu is quite lengthy and has items to satisfy any eater. All the food we ordered came promptly and was cooked to perfection. The parcels and the dumplings were bursting with flavour, and out of the mains the shrimp and the pork belly were clear favourites!! Their cocktails were also delicious, and landed quite a punch, so definitely value for money. I would visit this place again, everything tasted delicious, the staff are lovely, and the whole atmosphere is lovely.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was, and had an excellent meal here. The kway teow was fantastic and really authentic. Service was great and all the dishes arrived really quickly. Prices are slightly higher than you might find elsewhere, but I think it's generally fair for the quality you get.
