Ordered from The Oak Chinese again and it didn't disappoint. The BBQ ribs were tender and full of flavour, the crispy seaweed was spot on, and the crispy pork balls were perfectly cooked with a well-balanced sweet and sour sauce. Chicken chow mein and egg fried rice were both fresh, tasty, and generously portioned. Everything arrived hot, well packed, and clearly made with care. Consistent quality every time. The Oak is a fantastic Chinese takeaway, I've never been to the restaurant itself but every time I have ordered from them it has been a fast delivery and always a friendly face. The food is exceptional and the portions are quite generous (if you're missing the Hot-Wok that closed on colney hatch lane a few years ago this is a perfect alternative). Overall great food and a lot of different menu options, highly recommend.

Ordered on the app and could not use the discount code that appeared on the website, offered if you downloaded the app. The manager was not willing to offer an adjustment. The food was not as good as expected. Chicken was chewy. Steamed fish was nice however it was the whole thing so be aware you need to clean and remove fish bones. A bit of a disappointing experience
I ordered chicken soup with noodles and half duck with pancakes. They were both delicious . I have 2 fussy eater kids they like them too. We preferred to collect it as we didn't want to wait for the delivery and the collection time was super fast. I will try their other dishes soon.
Uber eats rates this place highly. I don't. Although the portions are large, the quality is low. I got a very soggy Pad Thai, noodles all melted into each other. And it had water chestnuts and broccoli. In a Pad Thai?! No peanuts. No fresh scallions. A lemon instead of lime. Come on! The shredded Szechuan chicken was the sweet kind you find at an all you can eat in China Town. It was not the worst.
Excellent takeaway with most delicious Chinese food! Also the best quality and brilliant delivery service. Pricing are great too. Highly recommend!
