The food is pungent , stinking and very bad taste. I’ve ordered takeaway from the shop, staff said about 5 minutes to prepare my order and then wasted my 30 minutes. Would never like to go back there. Absolutely shame for the staff!
My food was with me within 20 mins. Great service, yummy noodles and fried king praws.
It doesn't even deserve a star, it tastes bad and burnt. Not recommended.
Tonight, having eaten at Peri Peri (Yum Yum) on Denbigh St, I can easily say I ate the worst meal I have EVER eaten in my life! Tiredness got the better of me after a long day at work and I couldn’t be bothered to walk a little further so I just stopped here. Unfriendly staff, misleading meal deal menu (Deal advertised with Pepsi but no Pepsi in the fridge) the chicken was dry as a bone and the batter was so crunchy and dry it cut my gum, it had obviously been sitting in the hot plate for hours. I decided to eat in, it was no different from being sat on a park bench, absolutely freezing. I might as well have thrown £8 in the bin (I ordered a variety meal deal) never again. Please do not eat here, I ate one piece of chicken a few chips and left the rest. Places like this should not be allowed to trade.
ABSOLUTELY appalling Yum Yum. We ordered 3 dishes, a simple order, to which we were missing TWO items. The pitiful item that made its way onto our doorstep was THE MOST bland, dry and frankly DISGUSTING salt and pepper chicken that i have ever been cursed to taste. The container is arrived in tastes better than the lake excuse for a dish that we received - DO NOT be deceived, this operation that Yum Yum is running is. A. SCAM.
I can’t believe what just happened I’m really shocked. We ordered a platter and other items and the delivery driver was lost so out of frustration I decided to just go collect it my self after telling the driver to bring the order back to shop. So I collect from shop to get home and realise items was missing. By this time we had opened all food containers and stated to share the food when the door bell rang and it was actually our order? So instead of good customer service one would have expected that we would be told to keep what we opened and breathed all over and take what was actually our order! I asked the owner well we’ve already opened the items and she said we must scrape it all back into the boxes and to my surprise she said the chef will mix it up and sell it on to next customer despite us opening all the items? I was so shocked I couldn’t believe that they will mix it back up at the shop and sell it onto next customers. Be very careful buying food from this place I will never order anything out of that place ever again because one would think that the food we opened would be disposed of. Even the chips prawn crackers we opened dipped our fingers in and she took them back to. That’s vile please stay clear of Yum Yum nasty services I’m still shocked.

The food arrived on time and was hot, however our starters were missing. When I rang the restaurant they weren't particularly apologetic but they did send a replacement which arrived 30 minutes later. However they only sent one portion,whereas we had ordered for two. I rang straight back and asked for a refund, and the telephonist wouldn't take my details and was very rude. She was not apologetic at all and just kept telling me to call back the next day, which I don't think is good enough at all for a Saturday evening. It's a shame because the food we did receive was enjoyable, but it has certainly left a sour taste in our mouth.
