This is a lovely takeaway in Holloway, so not a sit in restaurant. They are lovely and welcoming when you walk in. The food is yummy and fresh and the portions are good. I would definitely be back highly recommended this gem!
My partner and I recently tried Holy Chinese Takeaway in Holloway for the first time and as huge fans of Chinese cuisine, we were impressed. From the ordering process to the food itself, everything was a great experience. We placed our order online for collection and the process was quick, easy and super convenient. When we arrived, we had to wait for a short while but it was understandable as it was a very busy day. We even got complimentary extras as part of our order which was great. One of the best parts of our experience was the lovely lady there. She is an absolute sweetheart! So kind, welcoming and warm. I unfortunately didn't catch her name but she really adds a personal touch to the place, making you feel like a valued customer. Her positivity and caring energy definitely stood out to us and made the whole experience even better. The food was really tasty and satisfying. Everything was well prepared, fresh and great value for money. We ordered a large amount of food and considering the portion sizes and quality, we felt that it was absolutely worth the price. It is nice to find a spot that serves generous portions without overcharging. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely order from here again. Holy Chinese is definitely worth trying; with delicious food, lovely service and fair price.
Ho from Holy at Holloway Road - the lady who runs this place is so lovely and radiates positive energy. It really stood out to me. First time I got food here and will definitely be back. Very affordable and large quantities!
This is your classic Chinese but the food is even better. Proper good stuff for very reasonable prices. Had a chat with the lady behind the counter who was so nice.
Holy is take away only. One of the oldest of this type on the Holloway road. Its best to phone your order in to save waiting as this is an extremely popular outlet, the staff are very friendly and the food is great and excellent value .I have used this take away for 30 years and hope they will be around long into the future.
Finally found a good Chinese takeaway. The food is fresh and tasty. Ribs are delicious, the meat and prawns in food is good quality. so far everything I have eaten has been great. This is by far the best in islington. Will defo be sticking with Holy from now.
First time here... so amazing friendly staff even got a free drink on the house. Food was absolutely delicious no complaints not oily just perfect :) Definitely recommend
The most amazing Chinese restaurant ever! The food has always been without a doubt the best Chinese food and is constantly at that level! Been a regular customer since I was a child and never without a doubt have ever let me down on my order! 10000% recommended !!
