A great place for a quick eat. The Chinese dishes are light and tasty. Portions feel a little small (3 dim sum per dish) but the price is fair. Service is great, the restaurant is clean and the service is friendly. Very convenient for Oxford Street/Selfridges.

This is Asian food with Western twists. I will explain the twist and whether or not I think it's good. Service is standard for this price range. Nothing stands out or too bad, but the small dining place and takeaway order means staff can be busy and noisy around you. Chicken katsu curry. Katsu was nicely done. Curry is LACKING. The side vegies are fine, tho not very authentic. 6.5/10 for the lack of curry, could have been an easy 8/10. The leafy vegetarian rice is a small portion, and they just list it casually as a rice dish without any warning of portion. It lacks umari, can be fine for vegetarian, tho. 6/10 The Xiao long bao (soup pork dumpling) was red/brown, good seasoning but thick skin, and lack of fat. 7/10 The chicken and casheu nut dumpling was surprisingly full of favor but also taste of MSG when I was expecting a mild dish. 6/10. Overall, it's a decent/acceptable experience with a better vibe than Chinatown, so perhaps you want to try it sometimes. I wanted their honey chicken rice in the pot, but it was not available. With only 5 % Service charge I changed service to 5 star.

We went 2 people on Saturday around 15.00pm, it wasn't that busy. Unfortunately we are so fast as we were so hungry and I didn't take photos. The bao bans were so soft and the prawn although was fried you could tell was good quality. The staff were really kind and explained the menu to us and how big the portions are so you know exactly what you are getting. Apart from the food I also got the strawberry and vanilla ice tea and was really tasty. All the food was good quality, not greasy at all and tasty. The place is very clean and the bathrooms also were super clean. See photos for menu and receipt.

The most horrible unwelcoming female staff I’ve ever met. Literally wanted to leave after visiting. Please fire her, you can see clearly with the poor reviews here about service and it’s even worse in person. She just threw the food on the table with no smile or regards, she even put in our dessert first before our main was delivered. Utter nonsense service. The food was good I’ll give it to the chef! But the service was absolutely disgraceful that’s it’s bought the review down to 1 star

Stopped for a quick lunch earlier today. Busy Sunday afternoon as expected. Food was really good as usual however this branch has poor service. Staff are not attentive and just dump dishes on the table and walk away. Taking my order also took them along time and the team were just standing behind the bar talking amongst themselves. At the end they forgot to bring my bill so I just went and paid at the till. Interns of food I tried the giant soup dumpling from the new dragon year selection which unfortunately didn’t have any soup inside! The potato cakes and dumplings were good with really tasty dips. I tried the lychee black tea which was very refreshing and floral.

Food nice enough, and cocktails were delicious. Front of house staff were pleasant. We had issues with the speed of service. There were only two of us, and it took 1 hour to be served all our dishes. We ordered about 7 things and we pretty much got one dish every 5-10 minutes. Such a weird experience. I’m not exaggerating in the slightest about the timings. All the while we saw Deliveroo riders coming in and grabbing huge takeaway orders.

Nice service, good food and good portions. Highly recommend visiting during happy hour where lots of dishes are 50% off. Spring rolls were our favourite.

Went here during happy hour where some items are half price. Ordered all of the dim sum dumplings that were half price. Overall the dumplings were average for what you’d expect from a westernised Chinese restaurant, and the price is only worth it during happy hour as you only get three pieces per dish. I had eaten two chicken xiao long bao dumplings out of three and the third fell apart in my chopsticks and to my disgust, pink sludge and pink meat fell out of the dumpling. They took this item off the bill.

Very average and doesn’t compare well to proper Cantonese Dim Sum. Anglicised version of dim sum that might suit people who are intimidated going to a real dim sum place. I can’t see why though, and you’re better off eating the real thing, which tastes so so much better and also offers better value
