I ordered lamb biryani it was the worst and most pathetic biryani I’ve ever eaten. The rice was all broken, the lamb wasn’t properly cooked, there was no taste at all. A completely terrible biryani never recommended

CHECK YOUR CHICKEN BEFORE BITING INTO IT!!!! Operates under the name Maida Biryani also. Ordered a nizami chicken tikka biryani as a takeaway and upon slicing into a piece of chicken realised it was still pink in the Inside, decided to slice into another piece and saw it was white thus confirmed that the first piece was still raw. Before anyone says it, no it’s not color from the spices or anything as none of the other chicken pieces was pink besides this one. Whole thing went straight into the bin and have been reported for safety issues.

I ordered online Manchurian and veg chowmein, worst experience ever. Manchurian balls were over cooked and burnt and choomein so oily with no taste. Not recommended.

From a former regular customer: NEVER AGAIN! Maida (Bethnal Green) has gone down significantly over the years. They used to do the best chinese food but everything except the lollipop chicken has gone down! The lollipop chicken used to be a generously fair amount before and now they count out 4 chicken wings (literally). The noodles have lost their taste - don't even bother ordering fish or prawn any longer, you actually won't be able to tell the difference. The biryani just tastes of parsley and the burgers don't even get me started. Staff are still polite. At my latest (and last ever) visit they didn't bring any bread. Mixed up the orders and even forgot to bring some of the order which we had to cancel as we left because they didn't even start making it! Not usually too negative about a bad experience but im writing this in hopes that an owner would read this and bring the old Maidah back - the one i used to enjoy and still crave. You've lost a regular customer
