Asked for no onions and was given onions everything! I paid 50 quid for vegetables. Everything was greasy with the chowmein literally dripping and i didnt even get the correct items.
I am a Rotherhithe local and ordered from Rainbow many times in the past and did not have issues. It used to be my favourite Chinese! However, the last time I ordered (4th August 2022) the food never arrived. As the food was over 90 minutes late and the driver had went home for the evening, the lady told me she had to cancel my order and instead to quote my name and address on my next order. When I called today to place my order, the person on the phone told me that the food WAS delivered on 4th August. I provided my name, address, date of order and proof of purchase via JustEat. They refused to accept the order without charge even though I had evidence of my order not arriving. I will not return to Rainbow due to the bad customer service - this is very disappointing as my family and I used to place large orders every week. I now have to find a new Chinese spot! Be careful ordering from here!
The food isn't bad but the service is awful. We ordered food for delivery only for it not to be delivered. We called and the staff apologised and said our next order was free due to the mixup. However when we called 2 weeks after for our free order the staff argued and said they made the delivery etc etc. I will not be back

I ordered a veggie Singapore noodles, satay squid and pepper salt tofu online. The food is very good value and the portion is big. Thanks for the bag of free crackers. From order to delivery, the food arrived at my home within 20 mins. Will order again.
Had takeaway from Rainbow Chinese for the first time and loved the food. The egg fried rice is a must have indeed! Dim sum was yummy! Only would have loved if the seasame prawn on toast were smaller so that they became crisper on all sides. They were slightly soft in the middle. Will definitely order again.
