   Avoid please! Been going to this salon for a while. I had my nails done as biab with tips. It took 2 hours to do. Whilst the girl was sticking the tips on my nails they kept on flinging off. I asked her if they would stay on when the biab was put on and she said yes. An hour later when driving I had noticed two of the nails were coming off. I’ll attach pictures to this review. Now - mistakes happen and I honestly don’t mind when a company / business puts it right. When I contacted the salon they first told me to come back to get the ones that have fell off redone. I said I’m unable to come back (I live forty minutes away) and had already spent 2 hours of my Saturday in the shop with my child. I said I could come back next Saturday but they said they were closed. They said they could only do it on the Monday which I said no due to that being my birthday and I was also in work till 4.30. They then said Tuesday but I would have to come no later than 3 - again I explained I was in work. Due to the inconvenience of the times available I said I wanted a refund. I was told I would not get a refund and instead could have 10% off my next set which accounts for £4. Bare in mine a week later 6 nails had come off and I had paid £40. I have asked the owner for a refund and was told no and that they are also not willing to do me a new set. The mum said she’s also cancelled an apt I had in the future to repair a nail. So they were basically quick to take my money but not quick at correcting the mistakes. I will not stoop low and say they are nasty people because they’ve always been welcoming when I’m in the salon and I have been going for a while but the way I’ve been treated despite me being a loyal customer and travelling is disgusting. I will never step foot in there again and hope others read the 1* reviews and take them seriously.

   I have been going to this salon for the last two years and have nothing but praise for all the staff. They are kind and thoughtful helpful and I am never disappointed with my hair.when I am entering and leaving I am always treated with kindness and respect from all the staff. And would like to leave a special thank you to Chrissie.

   Yesterday morning I went at Beauty by design because I had a Groupon for a gel manicure . Charlotte is a very nice girl , but unfortunately I have to give one star because I am very disappointed! Yesterday evening the gel on 3 nails came off and the others are opaque ! It never happened to me, I usually have gel manicure and it lasts at least two weeks ! I think the products are poor quality because it’s not possible that in few hours there is no more gel on 3 nails without having done anything.

   Not been to a hair dressers since pre covid. I have long hair and been doing DIY colours and cuts. You can imagine the state of my hair!!! Now I feel like a new woman. My hair looks and feels fabulous. Just wish I could post a picture. Thank you thank you thank you. I love it!!
