First time trying this local Chinese, did not disappoint. Lovely and fresh food, is going to be my go to Chinese now!
I assume new owners have taken over as food is now not very nice and delivery times are a joke now, used to be a lovely Chinese. A shame.
i ordered duck and when i picked it up there was the tiniest tub of hoisin sauce so i went back to get more and they just gave me another of that then charged me another £2.20 for it?! bare in mind i also ordered lots of other stuff too you would think to you for free as customer loyalty, ive been going for years!! lost five loyal customers because i also told me mum and nans i order food for us once a month
Had very little beef in the beef chow mein, £1.80 curry sauce was only two thirds full, sweet a d sour sauce was only two thirds full, paid £18.00 for all food and was told no free prawn crackers this was a very disappointing takeaway to say the least, I guess they have cut back on all portions of foods to recoupe their losses over the current cost of living crisis via their customers expence, not a good enough excuse that's the last time I travel there...
Order came to £25.10, no card payments now, food arrived hot, but tasted different from usual, assumed new chef again, the duck in black bean sauce, had more veg than duck, phoned to query this, and was told, that is the new portion serving. I have used this Chinese for over 10years and never really had any real problems, but to day stomach cramps and sweating, will not be using them again, as they are clearly they have changed.

Food is pricey here but worth it, very fresh and delious
Alway a good Chinese comes from here and never have they made a mistake on my order this alone makes great service i always order the duck the prawn toast is nice and the the sweet sour sauce has flavour
Our usual Chinese takeaway was shut, so decided to give this place a try instead, was very tasty, well priced and the staff were very friendly!
