   This shop is fantastic, as is the woman who runs it. So knowledgeable and helpful and warm. My only comment would be that she has turned us away several times when the shop is too busy (literally doesn't let you come inside). I know she does this because she wants to offer her customers the most personal and bespoke experience but would recommend she either has a booking system for busier times like weekends or she has a sign on the door saying how long she'll be. We have bought shoes at her shop, but she has lost quite a bit of business due to turning us away so abruptly and I know others have felt the same.

   We've been coming here for 3 years now since we needed my daughter's first pair of shoes. All staff we've encountered are great with kids, specially if they're a little shy. The selection of shoes is great and th advice is brilliant - they won't sell you a shoe if it isn't right for your kid's foot shape. Even after moving away, we come back here to buy shoes. Highly recommend to all parents for quality shoes and quality service.

   This the best children's shoe shop around, never been sold a bad pair, ill-fitting pair. Lovely staff. My children are now 32 and 29, so we just popped in for a chat. It really is that nice a place. I hope to be taking my future grandchildren here.

   Went to CC today having only visited sporadically these last few years (to our detriment) Truly delighted to find the same wonderful shoe fitter and style suggester extraordinaire there who had fitted my eldest child's first shoes 15 years ago! I wish I knew her name but to say that the service is as exceptional as ever - no rush, no pressure - is an understatement. We tried on 9 pairs of shoes between two children, neither of whom behaved particularly well (gah!) but the staff member didn't bat an eyelid. We left with gorgeous shoes that I felt really happy with, never mind the children who were ecstatic. Average shoe price is £50 though there are always sale shoes on offer as well as significantly higher priced - but as I say, no pressure. The range is bright, hard-wearing and gorgeous and you are not allowed to leave with shoes unless the fit is spot-on. I might spend £20-40 on my own shoes but for my children I do want excellence - here you will get it. A Sheffield institution for good reason ❤️

   Went to Clever Clogs to enquire about first shoes for my twins who had just started toddling. The owner was so helpful and informative and explained that unless I was being asked by a nursery or childminder to have them wear shoes, the best thing for their developing feet was to practice learning barefoot or in socks. So helpful and actually denied herself of a sale but I spied do many gorgeous shoes when I was in the shop that I’ll definitely be back when the time comes. Thanks again.

   Easy peasy, in and out in 15min with professional fitting, no nonsense and plenty of growing room. Beautiful shoes, a bit more expensive than the high street but sized to fit for longer and good to support an honest and independent business
