Great experience at German Doner Kebab. Food was spot on, but what really stood out was the service. Gul served me and handled the order properly — polite, attentive, and made sure everything was done right. You can tell when someone actually cares instead of just going through the motions. Credit where it’s due.
Tried the Rice Box at German Doner Kebab and it was spot on. The rice was perfectly cooked, the meat was flavourful and well-seasoned, and the salad was fresh and crisp. Everything was well balanced and filling without feeling heavy. Great quality, generous portions, and fast service. A really good option if you want something tasty but a bit lighter than a wrap. Will definitely be ordering again.
I recently visited German Doner Kebab in Waterford, and it was such a great experience! The food was fresh, tasty, and full of flavour honestly one of the best kebabs I’ve had in a long time. The restaurant was clean, modern, and had a really welcoming atmosphere. What truly made our visit special was the amazing service from Farhin, the lovely lady at the counter. She was so kind, polite, and extremely patient while taking our order. Throughout our meal, she came over several times to check if everything was okay and if we needed anything else something you don’t often see these days! Her warm attitude and genuine care made us feel really valued as customers. Huge thanks to Farhin and the team for such a great experience. We’ll definitely be coming back highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Waterford!
This place is an absolute joke. I ordered large fries, and two rice bowls through deliveroo. The fries were a small portion 'at best', and that's being generous. They were also stone cold, bearing in mind that we're in one of the hottest summers and I live 10 minutes away. The fries in the plate in the photo, are the entirety of fries that were in the box and the bag. The rice bowls were luke warm, and didn't contain much doner or rice. The food was also dry and not very fresh.
I placed an order in uber eats . I placed veg kebab but they send chicken kebab. When I call to store . They are talking rudely even they didn’t say sorry . It’s cross contamination how can they will send chicken for vegetarian person . They are telling to place order again . It’s not your mistake to spend money again to place order. After that I went to store today to ask the team they are irresponsible even they are not saying sorry for the customer . And they are saying it was busy that’s why it happens the guy who talk to me he said I will speak with manager and let you know but nobody back to me still now and I ordered on the same day in store I ordered flaming fries but I didn’t see any flaming powder in it
I paid £3 for a portion of chips that is smaller than a kids size. The attached picture is before I touched it! Prices are way too much for what they have to offer. The kebabs are less than average. Never again
We have noticed how the portions are getting smaller and smaller each time we have gone, but was hoping we just had bad luck. However, today's order was almost a joke. This is what we received from ordering a standard Kebab box with Fries for £6.99. Does the food taste bad? No. Is it good value for money? Absolutely not. I am sorry to say that we have chosen not to come back to this restaurant. I highly recommend German Doner at other locations, but NOT this restaurant in Watford High Street.
One of the worst food quantity served. I usually buy doner box with fries and salad and go large. Previously this costed me £7 (5.99 + 1). They have increases this to 6.99 + 2.50 = £9.50. Adding to the worse, they have reduced the quantity along with the hike in prices. Go large doesn't actually mean large. I don't think they do any addition for go large. Really frustrated. Last two buys, I had to cook more at my home after getting the boxes. Really really really poor.
Loved the doner quesadilla. Also impressed with the doner nachos. The doner quesadilla has combination of crunchy lettuce, jalapeno and some amazing meat. The thin juicy slices of meat coupled with some very tasty sauces made it delicious Also try the Nacho + cheese + lettuce and finally MEAT. A good portion and fairly priced. It's family friendly, open till late and has amazing helpful staff. Definitely going there again.
Beautiful food, friendly staff and very clean. The Indian lady who was serving was really patient and helped us order and recommended the food. portion size was much better than any other GDKs that we have been too.
