   If I could give a 0 I would. Myself and my mum went into the Meadowhall store today to exchange a pair of shoes bought online as a Christmas present for my dad. These shoes are advertised as Unisex on the Office website but are clearly a women’s shoe, as on the box it clearly said women’s and had a picture of a woman. When we went to the till the girl serving us was happy to help BUT the manager on the other hand was so rude and dismissive to both my mum and her employee, she kept repeating “they are unisex” and rolling her eyes. My mum then asked for help from another staff member, to which she was greeted again with rolling of eyes and rudeness. When my mum went back to the till I caught 3 staff members all taking and bitching about my mum and as she walked passed them, they all turned their backs and ignored her. As she got further away they continued bitching about her. This is extremely unprofessional and downright rude, if you do not like your customer facing job then there’s plenty of jobs else where. On the adidas website these shoes are clearly labelled as Women’s shoes, so it’s very misleading of Office.

   We went to the Office shop in Meadowhall on Wednesday 4th of June 2025 at around 10: 30. We were looking for HOKA trainers. Having bought a pair 3weeks previous and was served by a lovely young woman there. Wednesday however was completely different as the 2 assistants on the shop floor just couldn’t be bothered and kept going off chatting to one another. To cut a long story short. JDsports got our custom to the value of 3 pairs of HOKA women’s trainers amounting to over £400. I never usually leave negative comments but we were disappointed by the lack of customer care.

   the rest of the staff were absolutely lovely however when i was being served at the till the man on the till went to get my shoes from the back and some blonde lady decided she wanted to push me from the till bearing in mind there were 3 other open tills other then the one i was at, never going back!!

   If I could give it a zero I would. The only reason we bought from the store was because of how lovely the shoes were. We were the only people in the store to begin with got greeted once with a hello then the rest of people stood around. My friend asked for some shoes she just put them down and walked away didn’t try assist and carried on speaking between themselves . She was walking round clearly needing help then when picked up trainers was met with there juniors in a rude manner. We didn’t get more than 1 smile the whole time while spending £200+. There’s plenty of jobs if they don’t enjoy the retail profession.

   Went in to the Meadowhall store today(18/12/24) & was greeted by an extremely pleasant member of staff. Immediately she met my needs & was very efficient, She was so helpful & informative & answered all my questions about a pair of Ugg boots. She was also extremely patient with me because I was undecided. I left the shop to have a think about the boots. I decided to return to the shop & make my purchase. I headed straight to the lovely member of staff who I dealt with before & she remembered me straight away & what I wanted to purchase. The girl who served me was called Kira. She is an asset to this company. Thank you Kira. I also had a brief conversation with Maddie at the till, who was also very pleasant.

   Bought my other half a pair of boots for Christmas she didn't like them so I took them back and got my money back no problem no question's just refunded me, as you probably know it isn't always that easy.

   0 stars ... extremely rude . No customer service from the sales assistant whom I would recommend to change her job !!! Thankfully a manager that did have good communication Unfortunately from the experience I had I won't be returning and it's the last of my money they will ever have.

   Went in today to buy two pairs of doc martens . No staff members interested, all huddled behind the counter looking at this mobile phone. So walked out and went across to Schuh and bought them where the staff do actually acknowledge customers.

   Extremely rude and dismissive manager. I took a pair of trainers back which are faulty and the manager refused to do anything about it. The manager said they do not class the sole coming away from the leather as a fault even though they are only a few moths old. There was no discussion and basically said if I was unhappy I have to send them (at my own cost) to the head office for inspection. When you spend £130 on a pair of trainers you expect them to last more than 4 months. My main grievance here is the customer service received from the manager at the Meadowhall store.
