    visited this branch to collect an online order. I’ve been a long-time Argos customer for years and regularly use my Argos Card. Unfortunately, I forgot the card at home, and the staff member dealt with me in a very rude and unprofessional mannerβ€”she ignored me while I was explaining and refused to help with any alternative solution. I expected much better service from a big company like Argos, especially for loyal customers. This experience has seriously made me consider shopping elsewhere. I hope management trains staff on how to treat customers kindly.

    I went here to buy printer ink. Paid for my items at 14:16. Was stuck waiting for an hour for the items. I went to one of the workers to complain. I received my item at 15:36. I was stuck waiting in the store for an hour and 20 minutes. I couldn't believe it.

    I bought a iPhone 16 and it was faulty. The main manager did not want to do return and was very rude to me! It’s unbelievable angry and unprofessional attitude! Never ever I will come back there! And I will recommend it to everyone. If you buy happy, yes they are nice, if you have a problem, they turn to evil!

    Never buy from Argos. It’s better to buy from Amazon or anywhere else. I ordered a phone. My order was placed online as click and collect, which is normally treated as a distance purchase that includes a legal right to open the item for basic inspection. I opened the phone to check it, then decided to return it in perfect condition. Argos refused to give a refund on the basis that it had been opened. Based on the Consumer Contracts Regulations, opening an item for inspection is allowed, but Argos still declined the return. Be aware of this if you buy from them.

    The store is led by manager Lee, a total loss case! Walked in on 14/11/25 to return a item and there was also other customers in line to purchase something. All the staff including the manager was over at the collection counter and though they all acknowledged us nobody came over, including the manager. When we approached the collections counter the manager Lee said to return to the main counter and somebody will be with us. I said we have been waiting almost 10 minutes for that to happen, he replied with oh we are a little busy as you can see. I said that’s a you issue than a customer issue. What a total basket! Who employed him to be a manager and then say oh it’s busy with all the staff on collection! There was literally 7 people waiting? Hardly busy! Well surely after the 2 staff members tuned up and served the queue waiting for returns and new purchases. Higher management need to stop promoting people like Lee, who clearly doesn’t know the difference between his leg and elbow! A total amateur and I assume he can barely sign his name on a blank piece of paper let alone manage a store.

    Rude and unprofessional staff. Tried to return an item under warranty and a young guy went into the back with my item. Returned 1 minute later laughing with other staff members and tried to say it was accidental damage. Left after clearly pointing out it was a manufacturer fault. Fast forward a week I contacted the manufacturer and they sent out a replacement straight away. Wouldn't buy anything from them again as the warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on.

    Fantastic service provided by the Merry Hill team, ordered and was zble to collect product straight away. Argos staff were very friendly, welcoming, professional. A lovely lady from the collection point called Jo was very kind and offered herself to carry my product to the car park as it was a big heavy box, as i was unable due to being heavily pregnant, that shows how much kindness and empathy staff provide, and they're ready to go thd extra mile for their customers. 5+ star service, truly recommend them!

    Its a worst experience for me in this store . I have bought two tab of Amazon 27th of August which I went back to return to change with other one cause I didn't know how to use ( complicated to use ) so I came back to store 30 of January to change .even thought I am eligible to change it in 15 days which is my system in every shop even the day I bought these two tabs sales man even said to me that you are allowed to change in 15 days But when came back.very poor customer service I LL give them 0out of ten . And I LL go to court against them . I LL sue them to change the staff even manager behavior was being rude

    Really happy with my visit this morning. Having had a bad experience in a different store, I visited Argos to find the store well staffed with helpful, knowledgeable and polite staff. Good value for the item I purchased and priced matched with the store I’d visited previously. Very quick and efficient and felt that the staff genuinely appeared to enjoy their roles.
