I recently purchased a new cooker from ProductPound UK, and Iβm extremely pleased with both the product and the service I received. The ordering process was quick and straightforward, and the price was very competitive compared to other retailers.

Due to character limits, the original review is in picture format. Now I can update with latest harassment. !!!!!!!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! I would like to address several inaccuracies in the seller's response to my review. Firstly, the claim that I damaged the item is unfounded. The cooker arrived in a significantly damaged state, which was evident immediately upon removing the shrink wrap. We did not attempt to carry it by the door handle; the delivery men carried it by the base to our kitchen. Regarding the recorded calls, at no point was I rude or abusive. I have a naturally loud voice, which I explained during the conversation. I even referred to the representative as "bud" to ensure they understood I was not angry, yet they insisted I was shouting and refused to allow me to finish a sentence. Furthermore, the assertion that I left false negative reviews is false. The reviews accurately reflect my experience with the damaged product and the unprofessional handling of my complaint. How entitled do you need to be to scam a grieving widow and then think you can control the volume of a customerβs voice when they rightfully complain? The audacity is astonishing! I have attached the return communication from the seller as well as a response sent to seller. I have also attached picture of the damage. You can see this appears to have been dropped. You can see where the metal has kinked out and the top is uneven. They are accusing us of doing THAT damage... https://youtu.be/EWYx-Xm31zM This is a link to demonstrate the major mechanical issues with the cooker. !!!!!!! UPDATE !!!!!!!! Continuing their tradition of sending rage-fueled messages devoid of punctuation to a grieving widow, this company has relentlessly harassed my mother. I have now included updated pictures featuring these personal messages, along with metadata that clearly demonstrates their refusal to address a legitimate customer complaint as well as a snippet of my chat with an Ebay agent. I have provided all my receipts and evidence. Now, it's your turn. Produce this alleged audio of me verbally assaulting two members of your staff. Your defamation attempts are not only baseless but also laughable. Even if such audio existed, it would only serve to confirm my account and vindicate me entirely. Look at the pictures and observe the condition of this cooker, sold as "New other" for Β£619.99. A quick search shows the same model new for Β£699.99. How can this significant damage be justified for such a small reduction in price? Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the seller chose to insult and accuse the buyer of being rude and causing the damage themselves, merely because of a naturally loud voice. This response is not only unprofessional but also an attempt to deflect blame and avoid responsibility for their substandard product. !!!!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! After waiting 3 days for eBay to step in, the company sent the same delusional message, claiming they could charge us for the return and the costs to fix the paperweight they sent my mother. I contacted eBay, and the advisor audibly laughed, saying, βNo, they canβt do that.β eBay informed me that Productpond UK needs a reminder of their trading obligations. Since faulty goods were delivered, they owe the return cost. The idea that they can charge us for repairs we didnβt authorize is borderline criminal. eBay reassured us that, according to their trading regulations, Productpond UK has 5 calendar days to initiate a return at their cost. If they fail, eBay will refund us in full, and we will take ownership of the cooker. At this point, it will be left outside for the scrap man, as thatβs its only value. BUYER BEWARE! If I had dealt directly with Productpond UK instead of through eBay, Iβd be stuck with a broken cooker, paying for the return and repairs of their faulty product. Message to Productpond: Your blatant lies and public defamation, intended to cover up your awful customer service and faulty product, have been reported to Citizens Advice Trading (case number 18373347). Thank you.

Awful customer service, rude, very inconsiderate and accusatory. My mother-in-law contacted Productpond UK to discuss the mechanical defects of the oven that were not described in the product description and could not be seen in the images. My mother-in-law always uses her phone on speaker and we were able to hear both ends of the call. She explained that she was struggling with confronting the issues because her husband's funeral had been held the previous day, which is why her son took over the call for her. It doesn't take much to put it together that it was also her son's father's funeral the previous day. My brother-in-law does speak like a fog horn, he was in no way shouting at the operative. Before he had finished his explanation the operative interrupted my brother-in-law and accused him of shouting, my brother-in-law lowered his voice and explained he was not shouting, he speaks loudly. The operative continued to accuse my brother-in-law of shouting, despite lowering his volume and using friendly terms like, "Bud" and "Buddy" to reinforce that there was no hostility. The operative would not let my brother-in-law finish a scentance without making an accusation, he did not "plead" as stated in Productpond's response to my mother-in-law's review, the operative was demanding, assertive and accusatory. The operative hung up multiple times on my brother-in-law until a female answered, my brother-in-law spoke to her with a lowered volume and was polite. I heard the woman immediately accused my brother-in-law of shouting at her, my brother-in-law said he did not hear her and she hung up, my brother-in-law thought she hung up because of a language barrier. The fact that Productpond have accused my brother-in-law, in their response to my mother-in-law's review, of shouting at the female operative and making this a gender issue is laughable and truly low considering the seller was notified our family are grieving and my mother-in-law is feeling vulnerable. Someone, since contacting the company, has been messaging my mother-in-law, being insulting and harassing her (screeshots attached). To the issue of the product that was sold, there was no information in the product description of the mechanical defects/damages and we accepted the body damage in the images. The images did not clearly display the mechanical defects which included both oven doors have dropped, neither close correctly and have to be lifted to engage the catch mechanism correctly. The right-hand door has denting where, at some point, someone has forcefully tried to close the door, which has broken the catch causing it to be loose, bending the metal around it and breaking the enamel coating. We discovered the defect with the right hand door when unwrapping the oven after the delivery men placed it in our kitchen, having carried it by it's base. The right hand door opened of it's own volition, where we discovered the broken catch. The seller stated that all damages were pictured, so I decided to replicate the image from the listing and then take a picture from another angle to show how the broken catch had been misrepresented. It was when I replicated the image from the listing and opened the left oven for the first time that I discovered that both doors had dropped and would not close without lifting. No faults with the delivery company, they were happy to rebook the delivery date when the original date fell on my father-in-law's funeral and offered their condolences. Their operatives were well mannered and happy to carry the oven, through the house and place it in our kitchen. We reviewed the delivery company on the spot and gave them 5 stars across the board. I have attached images of the seller's image, the only one that shows the catches, my replication of their image and then a side view of the catches, and screenshots of the messages sent following the phone calls.
