   They have lots of good stuff here. But i found on this visit that the leigh store had twice as much stuff a good selection the only prob is not enough check outs available so waiting isnt good

   Went to wicks to purchase some paint, Ayran was really helpful and explained everything about the mixing machine that can help you achieve the colour you want! a very knowledgable young man with excellent customer service skills!

   I am so pleased with customer service I received at WICKS BOLTON . Paint I bought was not suitable and I was frustrated after all my preparation to start the work. I explained this to OLIVIA and she was very attentive in giving me advice....Her manager on the day was ANNA gave permission so I bought 2 sample pots. Next day I went back with my choice and explained to duty manager ALEX my situation and he informed me he had received email from ANNA that I would be calling in again. Great Communication, polite customer service and ALEX made my exchange a pleasure not a trial. BOLTON store will certainly have my custom in the future Patricia Fitzpatrick

   Went to get a keter storage shed from Bolton. There was one at the doorway which I paid for. The staff member was so miserable, not a smile, a please or thankyou. And no offer of someone to carry it outside for me or put it on a trolley, this is a heavy item. I am a 8stone, 5ft female. Wanted to purchase another large shed, but Ile stick to B&Q where the staff are friendlier and helpful. Looking at the comments, this is a common occurrence. Can’t comment on product as I haven’t made it yet.

   A big DIY store in Bolton city center. It has lots of tools and materials for your projects. It is inside a retail park so there are plenty of parking spaces with free 3 hours parking available. Today, I grabbed a garden storage box there which is a bit cheaper than what I found on the Internet.

   We have just had a kitchen designed bought and fitted by wickes in Bolton. We are ecstatic. It’s gorgeous. Adam did a fabulous job designing the kitchen and being there for us with our questions and generally being extremely helpful and taking customer care to a whole new level. Thankyou Adam. Then Michael and his team came to fit the kitchen. They were exceptional and so talented in what they do. You hardly knew they were there. I was expecting so much disruption. This was not the case at all. The workmanship and professionalism was second to none. I will recommend wickes for the whole package to everyone I know. Delighted with the whole process. I can’t thank them enough!

   We are actually astounded! We wasn’t expecting such fabulous service and product. Adam a designer at the store was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. He is superb at his job too, fitting things in a kitchen we thought we couldn’t have. The quality of kitchen is very very good and the service even better. Thankyou very much for a stress free experience. We spoke to Jennifer first, who was also lovely and explained everything at first point of call.update…. Well we now have the kitchen fitted. Omg, it’s fabulous. We are so happy. The actual cabinets are fantastic quality and the appliances are all zanucci! Adam the designer has done a great job and Michael and his team who fitted the kitchen are exceptionally talented and a pleasure to have in your home. Truely couldn’t be happier!

   Fantastic! Lovely, bright store that's well stocked, very organised and easy to navigate. I'm a fan of Wickes. Always feels you get a great deal especially on their quality own brand things. Unlike B&Q that definitely feels they want as much money out of you as possible. Well done Wickes. Graat to see you in Bolton

   Absolutely useless! The first time I ordered was on click & collect. I got the message to say my order was ready, when I arrived was told they couldnt find it. Had to go all the way to Wigan as this was the only store that had what I needed.The second time I went, I bought a pair of sink tap hoses. When I got to the till I was told I couldnt have them because it flagged up as a dangerous item on the screen. The system could only be overridden by head office so couldnt take them. Had to go to B&Q which was no problem and they were also £3 cheaper. Its B&Q all the way for me in future, I have lost confidence in Wickes to be honest.

   Large store. With a dedicated kitchen and bathroom showroom. Lots of range and for it's better than the other two local stores Chorley and Clifton. All items are indoors so it's great to buy items like soil and compost as they aren't soaked. There is also plenty of parking and dedicated parking bays for vans and click and collect
