I had my iPhone 11 screen replaced, I was charged £50 for it, the lady changed the screen and everything seemed fine. 2 days afterwards, the screen kept on going blank, at first I thought my battery was flat, but after about 40 minutes, it came back on. This kept on going on and off randomly for about 2 weeks, I couldn’t go back to store immediately because I just had a baby, and also a toddler!. I finally went to the store (since warranty covers 1 month), met the same lady and told her what happened, and she checked my phone and said the screen is broken inside and that’s why it keeps going blank intermittently, how??? I was so upset, I know my baby touched my phone 2 days before and cracked my screen protector but I got a padded phone case and screen protector for from same shop and didn’t think I would have any screen issues as I have used the phone for 3 years. She spoke to someone else who said I would have to get another screen, I refused but they claimed my warranty was gone. They asked to meet half way and told me to pay £20 for the new screen. I paid and she got it fixed and gave me a complimentary screen protector. I’m giving a 3 starts because she handled the situation well especially when I was angry, but I know In my heart the initial screen was faulty and that’s why it started acting up 2 days after purchase. Overall, they were friendly and nice after resolving my issues.

Scammers Went for a replacement screen which they charged £70, after a number of days I collected the phone and took it home and when giving it back to my partner (it was her phone) she could not get it to work at all. It worked as I walked out of the shop. I took it back and they said I dropped it and have damaged the phone again which was completely not true. I took it to another phone repair shop and explained what had happened so they looked into it for me and found the screen used was not meant for the phone and is a generic cheap imported screen replacement and not what was required. I took this information back to the phone shop whwre they refused to give any money back that had been paid. The second shop repaired the phone and it is working perfectly for £50. These guys are a complete scam and do not know how to repair anything. They have been doing it for years.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SHOP - as they will rip you off and over charge you. I brought in my iphone 12 mini because the phone was no longer charging. I told them that I may have damaged the charging port from cleaning it. I asked them how much it will cost to replace the charging port and I was told it would be £35. They had my phone for over a day and when I collected the phone it was charged and they gave me a cable. I went home to use my old charging cable and the phone wouldn't charge. I tried another cable and the phone still wouldn't charge. So I quickly realised that they haven't replace the port but charged me £35 for a cable. I went to the shop to ask how much an iPhone cable is and i was told it was £5. I asked them why have I been charger £35 for a cable and they denied everything. His argument was that the phone is working and couldn't understand what the problem is. I replied that I paid £35 for a new charging port not for a new cable. He refused to give my money back. Stay away from this shop

I would not go to this phone shop. Soon you go in they act all professional and nice to your face. Soon you want your repairs done they take weeks to ring you back to get it and when you do finally get it, it becomes much worse than before. Soon you ring back up they say it’s your fault not there’s. Very arrogant and bad attitudes after you’ve just paid money into there pockets to fix something that they didn’t even fix.

An absolute bunch of cowboys, went for my iPhone 7 screen replacing....what a mistake. The guy in the shop must have tried 5 different screens before he decided one would work. Had to take it back the next day as lines running through it and colour bad. Changed the screen as I left it with them for an hour and picked up and left. Went back to charge where I was staying and now wouldn’t charge above 4%. Took back again and they said nothing to do wiith them, I must have dropped it. They finally looked at it and the battery miraculously had been dislodged!! Took away and now the phone won’t charge at all....it was fone until they attempted to change the screen. Don’t use, they are absolutely useless to say the least, also left screws out of certain parts of the phone.....COWBOYS!!!

Not happy with this outfit, they replaced my iphone 7 battery saying if I have any problems within 3 months they would replace the battery. Within 2 months the battery health was down to 83% (only 2% higher than the battery they replaced). At the shop I was received by a different assistant who first wouldn’t accept that GDM had replaced my battery and then refused to recognise the man that did the replacement. Furthermore he suggested I was lying as they only give 2 weeks guarantee, not 3 months. They refused to accept that the battery health % had any significance (I would imagine that Apple would have something to say about that). All in all I would never use GDM again and suggest others avoid them too.
