   I bought two trousers from the Next store in Chester three weeks ago. After wearing one, the stitching started coming apart, so I returned it. The staff member upstairs was polite but offered a refund without suggesting an exchange or alternatives. When I asked, she checked and said only one size 38 was left, and that it couldn’t be reordered as it was out of season. I asked about similar options, but she didn’t make any real effort to help. I later found another pair myself, but it had the same fault. When I tried to show her, she kept walking and dismissed it as a factory issue. It’s disappointing when customers make the effort to shop in-store instead of online, only to be met with unhelpful service. I’ll definitely think twice before shopping at the Chester Next store again.

   Not sure what to rate this, but just putting this out there. I'm a North Wales local and somehow this branch sells the same items for a higher price than the Bangor/Llandudno branches? Strange

   Next welcoming ,well displayed and accessible layout ,items reachable or staff approached and willing to help ,sanitising at entrance and all till points , very enjoyable shopping experience Chester city store

   Small store - everything feels cramped, not much room to manoeuvre & not a lot of options clothes wise. Don't sell anything different to what other retailers are selling at cheaper prices.

   I found a lovely occasional jacket and was helped by Samantha who advised me on clothes to go with it. All im saying is.... I was in Sales for 26 years and Samanthas up-selling skills are second to none. It's hard to get me to spend a lot of money so this girl needs a pay rise as well as promotion... Thank you Samantha and Merry Christmas.

   A good selection of clothes, shoes and others wares. Downstairs is mostly femail and up is male and home wares. Clothes are of good value for what you pay. Plenty of selections from casual, partying, formal, leisure and other areas. Plenty of fun cartoon and bright socks, and undies in the male section... if thats your thing. Oh yes... Around Christmas you can find festive jumpers... fantastic ... Overall its in Eastgate street, it busy there but you have plenty of shops to view once your done.. Why not...
