Well done Sarah. When going to collect an order today, I had a technology problem, my issue, which made collection difficult. Sarah was extremely helpful towards me, and sorted the problem efficiently and effectively. Great appreciation of the customer needs of us oldies. Thanks and well done Sarah.

Always a pleasant experience in this store, the staff always seem to be happy and knowledgeable about thier products. If you ask a question they don’t know, they will seek to find out rather than push the unanswered question back to you. The store itself if always clean if a little, well very, sparse. The lighting makes the store look dim and from the outside it’s hard for the passerby to tell if it’s open or not. Store could do with a refit, bringing the counter forward and making it look more inviting. I only really remember it’s there when I have something to collect that I’ve ordered online. Argos products are generally very good and competitively priced so I’m sure the store has the potential to be busier especially as this retail park always seems to be busy. Argos is just tucked away in the corner and looks closed form even a few meters away let alone the other side of the car park. A real shame because the staff are lovely.

I ordered a Scalextric set for my son's birthday. I collected it, wrapped it up, and gave it to him. When we started to build it together, I discovered that the contents of the box were broken. It wasn’t just a packaging issue, either. The entire track had clearly been assembled, played with (for quite a while, judging by the worn brushes on the cars), then repackaged and returned. Multiple track pieces were damaged, and one of the cars was broken too. Everything had been stuffed back into the box, though the box itself had been resealed reasonably well. The Argos call center was completely unhelpful. I ended up returning the set that same night. They offered me a measly £5 refund to keep it—a broken, unusable item! I was told that if I wanted a replacement, I’d have to travel 15 miles to a different Argos store to pick one up. I was told they could not guarantee that a replacement wouldn't have the same issue. My son was devastated that his birthday present was broken and that he couldn’t keep it. The refund took ages to appear in my bank account, and I wasn’t offered any gift vouchers or other compensation for having to make the trip back to Argos. This is entirely Argos’ fault! It’s not a manufacturing or packaging error they couldn’t have foreseen. Argos is willfully and knowingly selling broken, returned, second-hand items at full price while advertising them as brand new. I won’t be shopping at Argos again! If I wanted second-hand, broken toys, I’d shop on eBay. I left a review of the item on Argos’ website, but they repeatedly removed it, claiming it was unrelated to the product and violated their review guidelines. I can only assume this is a common practice for Argos, and they simply delete product reviews they don’t like. It’s a disgraceful practice from a company I once thought was reputable.

Struggled with a purchase online with a overall voucher and a discount code and decided to pop.into the nearest Argos. I was served by Lee (manager) who not only solved the problem but didn't need to ask any more questions after I told him what happened. Item arrived within minutes and I was out Thank you Lee!!

We came in to buy an air fryer but we needed help so we spoke to a girl called hannah hussain who was very rude and didnt seem to want to help she was more interested in chatting with another girl. She didnt like that I interrupted her "important" conversation and then when I went to collect something else purchased she slammed my items on the desk and pulled a face (had to make sure the items were not broken). this is such an appalling attitude so we will stick to currys from now on

Brought a TV from Argos and took it home all the packaging was opened you can see previous finger prints on the TV screen as that came with nothing covering the screen either the other packaging was also all ripped open its obvious it was a return from a previous customer. This wasted my time my fuel as the store is quite far away and I will be returning it shortly.

I have bought from them several times now without a problem and it has always been really fast. Last one being a "click and collect" order, in and out in about 1 minute. There is always parking nearby and the personnel are really nice. Would recommend to buy things from them without a doubt.

Good store with a nice choice of products unfortunately they tend to have a lot of things out of stock in store but they are happy to order it in for you to be delivered. Some of the staff are great and very friendly, some not so great, one in particular was more interested in reading her phone rather than helping customers, stood at the customer service counter over 10 minutes while she stood there on her phone ignoring me.
