The fish was actually rancid. Got it home, cut it open and it stank like ammonia and made me retch. Took it back. They would have known they were cooking well gone off fish. This chippy is empty on a Friday at 6pm. Says everything.
Visited today 21st October 2023 at about 12.30pm. Had Chip Butty & Fish Roe (That I thought was a fish cake when I pointed at it) But was really excellent and went down a treat. Friendly service too. Will call again when next in area. Thank you.
Quality Greek Chippy, Rare these days. Big back in the day, Greek Chippys everywhere, but then Retirement came along & the Asains took over. This place has the best Chips I've tasted in over 35yrs. The best Sausages & Fish Cakes. Staff super friendly & Welcoming. Shop is spotlessly clean. One can tell this place has a lot of Pride in what they do. Will most definitely visit this Beeches Walk Chippy again. You should try it if you're in the area. Thank you to the Gentleman who served me. Well impressed...
I ordered from this chip shop for the resident in our Nursing home! From start to finish the service was amazing and the food delicious. Very accommodating with such a large order, nothing was too much trouble. I have definitely found our new go to chip shop.
Went to get kebab meat n chips been eating hear since opening not greek people serving the meanest smallest portion ive EVER had WONT be returning NO THANKS

Has it had new owners? Because these were greasy and not nice chips. But In the past it was great. It failed the first test when I asked for plenty of Vinegar then plenty of salt. Then ignored me. Top layer of chips edible but then the grease came through.
Very very nice greek dishes. Authentic and as good as any Greek restaurant food from the UK or Greece! Chips lovely also. Nice family run place. Back soon!
Every person who works here (that I have met) is SO VERY friendly and so very helpful! This makes going there an absolute pleasure. The food is second to none, always completely lovely. I feel blessed that this shop is local to me. AND rather wonderfully, It is more than just cod & chips etc because they have a WONDERFUL SELECTION OF SUPER-HEALTHY homemade Greek food available - always freshly prepared and even includes authentic Greek puds! I cannot recommend this establishment more highly.
