Used a few times, fantastic staff no matter who we've used. Had my wedding, my best friends wedding and would highly recommend. My friend used Moss Bros and had a horrible time and regretted not using slaters.
I haven’t purchased a suit from a shop for many years (mainly doing online) but today Molly was so helpful, with amazing customer service - and going above and beyond to ensure I got what I needed, she does a job I could never do - and does it with a smile on her face. I have been a regular customer for over 20 yrs now from a recommendation from a friend. Slaters have a vast range of menswear over two floors - formal and informal, they have a style and budget for everyone, they have a very good range of suits, shirts, shoes, ties, accessories etc. Slaters in Liverpool is my go to place when I'm looking for smart clothes for a party or any kind of special occassion. The staff are welcoming and professional, and helpful. Any issues that I have had are dealt quickly and professionally. The managers are amazing and I get treated like a valued customer, every time I shop. I still have many of the jackets, suits and shoes that I have purchased over 20 years, they still look as good as new. From the moment I walked in, Chris made me feel completely at ease. He took the time to explain both the hire and purchase options clearly, and his advice was spot-on. It didn’t feel like a sales pitch in the slightest — it felt like genuine, honest guidance from someone who clearly knows his stuff and cares about getting it right for the customer. In the end, I chose to buy the suit (the price difference was minimal anyway), and I left feeling fantastic — confident, smart, and genuinely happy with my choice. Chris was also incredibly polite and kind to my wife and our 6-month-old son, which really stood out to me. It’s the little things that make a big difference, and he nailed every one of them. How men's clothes shopping should be. Slaters menswear is part of a chain, but feels like you are shopping at a small independent. Great selection and range of menswear available and staff are a joy to deal with. Prices are extremely good and more than competitive with other bigger name national chains. Alterations (if needed) are done free of charge by their in house team. All in all a great place to shop.
Wow what a great service at a great price. My suit came in under budget and the customer service was excellent. A big thank you to Steve the manager and Charlotte they were amazing. I will certainly go shop there again.
Went into Slaters to pick up a suit for a funeral which was the next day. The help and service we were given was second to none. They brought me 3 suits to try within minutes, and helped me choose with advice and professional support (mixed with a gentle sense of humour about my 'tummy') They even had the trousers shortened and ready for me to collect within 2 hours. Can't praise this store enough
Popped into Slaters this afternoon with my husband, on the off chance we could get a suit to fit him (he's 6 foot 5). The staff there were amazing, really helpful, great customer service, they even took my coat and sewed a button back on for me, free of charge, while my husband tried on suits. We came away with a lovely 3 piece suit, at a really good price. Big thanks to Georgia (we think that was her name) and her colleague (name unknown). Thanks guys, great service, highly recommended ☺️
