    This might just be my favourite bar in Manchester. We booked part of the venue out for a party of about 70 and from first email to the end of the event Doug and his team were so helpful, kind and accommodating. The atmosphere was incredible, with fairly reasonably priced drinks for smack bang in the city centre. Everyone loved it and we can’t wait to visit again!

    I did put a review in on another site but I thought I’d get my Google one in, this was from a few months ago. This place was absolutely amazing and I really mean it, one of the best bars I’ve ever been to. The music was spot on and the decor was amazing. It really did embody Manchester at its finest. The bartender who opened up was class and quite hilarious and when the other ones turned up they were just the same. The cocktail menu is literally perfect and the ghostbuster sharer is just so worth the price it’s unreal. The only note I could make is that they don’t do food, if they did…. It could be a contender for the place place in Manchester but I understand it’s a bar not a restaurant and they don’t wanna expand by building a kitchen and hiring chefs etc.

    Was here the other night, and I am appalled with the bouncer. A man was making a women extremely uncomfortable trying to advance on her when she was clearly not wanting anything. This was right next to the bouncer who was on his phone the entire time not even doing his job properly. She had told him to stop many times but he kept going, the bouncer was too busy looking at his phone to even notice at what was OBVIOUSLY happening RIGHT NEXT TO HIM. Maybe if you had a better bouncer that did his job properly this would have never happened. Truly disgusting.

    Had a booking for a Saturday evening, when arrived was told to sit where we wanted as was pretty empty. To be later told we had to move. We was told someone would be over to take our drinks order, 10 minutes we waited before going to the bar ourselves. Toilets were an awful state. Giving 2 starts as cocktails were nice, and 1 bartender was really nice and welcoming on arrival. Won't be returning.

    This little gem rates in my top 10 for small tucked away bars in Manchester. The staff are legends! The music is rock n roll 60s/70s. The cocktails are sublime. Not only this but the place is spotless. I'll definitely be going there again.
