Went to the Foodbank to collect food for two of the families I'm working with. Nice, friendly staff. Clean environment, foods already placed in bags... They do halaal foods too. Please support them by donating items of food, bags, polypockets, stationary, etc...

I come here for the purple tea rooms. Its great every time I visit. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming despite working in a hot kitchen! Sausages are always perfect, and £4.50 for a meal deal thats almost enough for 2 people is just great value !
I was actually meant to write this last year - so sorry for the year old review ha! We hired the hall for my son to celebrate his 8th birthday. Victoria went above and beyond to accommodate us and the gentleman who opened up for us was a star (it was heavily snowing last year) we had the hall for a few hours and had access to the little cafe bit which the kids loved as they had their food in there. Toilets were clean. Overall I would use again!
Friendly Staff, lovely vintage place with a warm welcoming feel! They cater well for all needs of different parties and events. 100% Recommend!
A very welcoming little cafe with good food at affordable prices. I recently went to a 1940s Afternoon Tea in the Community Hall and it was a fantastic event with live entertainment, hand made sandwiches and cakes all cheerfully served by friendly staff. If they hold more events like this I'll definitely go again. Look out for flyers on Facebook advertising their next event. =^..^=
