Discovered this gem in a post office. Spoke with man to my surprise it had was a new place with passion at the heart. I only had a coffee and cousin had tea and cheese toasty but definitely felt the love.
First time trying cafe 290 and I ordered jacket potato and a redbull mojito….. I was not disappointed! It looked and tasted amazing! The mojito is the best I’ve tried to far and I will definitely be going back for more! The presentation was good and food was neatly packed and the cafe is incredibly clean and tidy. The guy that served me went above and beyond to meet my needs and added exactly what I wanted to my jacket potato and he’s so pleasant and polite. A wonderful experience. Thanks cafe 290 :)

Hands down the best coffee I have drank in a long time. That cajun chicken toastie hit the spot in my small lunch break will defo come again with friends and family! BTW this place is Spotless fair play
Love this place. Mr Hussain is a very kind hearted and approachable person. Cafe290 100% serves the best jacket potatoes in Birmingham! They have a lot on their menu which includes; all day breakfast, lunch, drinks, desserts and snacks. There is something for everyone. Place is always spotless, tasty food with generous portion size. I've ordered from this place multiple times a week, for a year now. Best thing is you can order in advance and food is always warm and ready for collection promptly. I've never had to wait or be given any reason to complain. Will continue to use this Cafe for as long as I am local. Thank you very much 5+++++.
