   I visited this café for the first time and was unfortunately disappointed with the experience. I ordered a sandwich on crusty bread, but the bread was quite soft. I also requested a runny egg, but it was very overcooked. I also ordered a small breakfast, and it was quite poorly presented—the beans were just thrown on the plate, leaking and very watery. Even my 9-year-old son commented, “This doesn’t look very nice.” More concerning, however, was what I observed in the kitchen: all three staff members were eating sandwiches while preparing food, without washing their hands in between. Watching them eat and then go straight to buttering sandwiches without any visible hygiene measures is quite off-putting, especially in a food prep area. I hope management addresses this, as cleanliness and food safety are critical for any establishment. I wanted to enjoy this visit, but sadly, I left with more concern than satisfaction.

   I have been coming for years but staff always seem rude and disinterested. They prioritise deliveroo orders and leave you waiting ages for food, even when not busy. Prices have increased and staff seem to resent customers even more. Sausages and beans were cold. Not worth £8 for regular breakfast.

   Definitely not the best food and pretty dear too! Take my advice and save a bit of money and take a trip down by the train station and not only save a bit, but receive tastier food!

   Ordered online for pick up. Person behind the till was talking to their colleagues whilst in the middle of serving us. They proceeded to ask us 3 times what I had said due to them not paying attention. Food was left on the side for about 10 minutes before receiving it as they had forgotten to let us know it was ready. Toast was cold and the sandwiches had sweated to the point that the bread had gone mushy. Pleased that they are inundated with orders, but it seems they are incapable of managing the volume they receive.
