    Im happy to post this review for the excellent service and fantastic people who work here Lee katie adam marie you are all fantasic and b&q should be so proud to to have you as employees So here goes i came in to buy a kitchen for a lady i look after who was in a bad situation with housing I explained id bought her a bungalow as she was struggling Both me a ruth were greeted by marie (ruth carnt speak of move due to stroke) Marie treated her like she was not disabled ruth felt comfortable straight away she uses her eyes to talk and marie included her in all the choices for the kithen even brought her a blanket as she was cold Excellent service by all staff We sat and went though everything the kitchen was ordered On delivery of the kitchen some things were damaged so i rang the number on the text i spoke to the call centre not the branch they were rude abrupt and awful i The washet was damaged it was grey it matched the kitchen all i got was none left have white i was like no ive ordered grey it matches the kitchen worktops damaged other bit the call centre coudnt care less Im on a very tight schedule as ruth needs to be out of her other property I thought im going to ring the worksop branch well im so happy i did 20 star service Lee adam marie katie you are the reason i will always use b&q They went above and beyond absolutey outstanding everything was sorted Lee is the most kindest good hearted bloke ive ever met And so arw the others You played a big part i gettting a disabled lady into het forever home You made her so happy Nothing was too much trouble You sorted everythinv out with finnesse All those directors take heed as these are the reason cutomers keep coming back What beautiful people marie youve a heart of gold and katie sorry for burning your out lol patience of a saint Lee adam legends Even took time out to send flowers to ruth in her new home Restored faith in humanity And had made ruth feel.like disabled people matter Anyway lee marie katie adam thank you from the bottom of my heart xxxx

    Adam seems to enjoy annoying the younger generation by not letting them buy products such as aerosols or glue etc, not sure why he doesn't just get a real job, we won't be buying from b&q anymore.

    Would not sell my son glue or WD40 which is fair enough, but wouldn't let me buy it either!!!! Because it was for my son. My son has got a workshop full of metalworking machines and welders etc, he isn't a kid! The guy at B&Q is just a jobsworth who hasn't got an ounce of commonsense! Wickes across the road got our business!

    The store doesn’t have enough tills or self service ones, it’s too small. The toilet has also been out of order for the last five or so times I’ve been, I’ll have to check next time if it’s open. Some staff are friendly, whilst some are unhelpful, it’s a mix. The price on most products is sky high, you’d expect it to be stiff competition with Wickes much cheaper over the road

    We wanted to write a review to thank Marie in the kitchen department for being very helpful and professional with us during our appointments. Nothing was to much trouble and explained everything to a very high standard. She went the extra mile from coffees, ensuring parking reg confirmed to adding our dogs into the illustrations and also checked regularly if we were comfortable. On multiple times we changed our ideas and requirements and Marie happily supported us and changed everything with no trouble at all. We have decided not to purchase from B and Q this time (product related) but just wanted to give feedback on the excellent customer service we received in store from Marie, Compared to other places we visited.

    Went in to pick up a click and collect order. I stood at the click and collect area for 10 mins while members of staff were just floating about and talking. So I asked one them if I was in the right place to which he replied yes you can use it at the till as well. I gave him the order number to which he asked for id I said get the order and I will get the id from the card he said no he wanted it first. I went to get the id when I came back it was now a woman on the click and collect. So I had the give them the order number again which she said it was wrong so I showed her on my phone the order number then she said oh it’s been cancelled. Then another stuck up woman came over started to try and talk to me like a child and goad me into a reaction. All they wanted to do was waste my time why would he send me for id when it had been cancelled staff are rude and incompetent avoid avoid avoid

    Hi I bought a mower and a strimmer from worksop B and Q. I am autistic and I have adhd dyslexia and dyspraxia. I live alone I can put some things together but the instructions for both equipment were difficult to follow as a person with learning difficulties. I went into the store on saturday and had help from one staff member who put the strimmer together for me. I had to go back into the store to ask for further help with my lawn mower. I had further help from a chap called Josh and his colleague who helped me by putting the lawn mower together. I did have a go but I thought I had parts missing. I could not recognise the parts to the pictures in the diagram. All staff showed patience and understanding when I asked for help. It is so important to someone like me with mild learning difficulties, I struggle a lot. It is not easy asking for help and I make mistakes. For the gentleman who told me on the saturday at customer services " You should be able to work it out the diagram is straight forward " or words to similiar effect I replied "I understand it may be easy for you but it is like reading japanese to me" I found you helpful with getting support and calling up other staff members to help me. I would just ask for consideration when making remarks like that and assumptions (we all do it, I do it too) It is like me expecting you to do my job in mental health with no knowledge and going out to treat mental health patients with no training.There are also different ways of learning and not everyone can follow diagrams with no one to ask what to do. I learn better when I am shown in person and talked through instructions. It is small constructive feedback and not criticism. I appreciate B and Q staff members cannot always put things together all the time. The customer service is exemplery during busy times and no question is left unanswered. I have visited a few times during my move to this new area.

    Excellent customer service my son felt ill the staff all rushed to get him some water and a seat stayed with him till he felt better, also allowed our new puppy to come into shop with us in his puppy pushchair which is such a convenient modern thing to allow nowadays. Got everything we needed. Customer service is so important but ignored in the UK so its so nice when you go into a store with friendly helpful accommodating staff Thanks again
