"Absolutely electric atmosphere! I came here to see Pete Tong and the venue did not disappoint. Despite the huge capacity, the security lines moved surprisingly fast and the staff were really helpful in directing us to our seats. βThe acoustics were fantastic and we had a great view. Getting out was easier than expected, too. Definitely the best spot in Manchester for big arena shows. Highly recommend

Much improved experience from a few years ago. They have raised their game with COOP live opening last year. Arena was clean, concessions plenty and reasonably priced. Entry and exit was smooth with no queuing with the new high tech scanners. Well done arena team for the improvements. Easier to get home too, compared with the long waits at Coop Live.

Good venue, Especially when it comes to boxing events no better in the country! Parking is plentiful so no need to worry about that. Prices of drinks good luck very expensive!

Fantastic experience when we went on Friday past to see Disturbed. Venue was excellent. Well staffed, felt secure, well organised. Not once did I feel that the venue was over crowded etc. Also a fantastic location, the arena in the middle of a city centre and doesn't dominate the surrounding area. Would definitely return for shows in the future especially as I have found the perfect hotel close by and the travelling is so easy.

Awesome concert seeing disturbed (and megadeth - though wasn't that interested in them, but they were good). All staff i interacted with were nice and directed which entrance needed to go in by. Actual concert was great, really good live and such a good mix of songs (the Sickness album plus few other biggest hits). Couple of mosh pits happened but never close enough I'd be pulled in but was fun to see (incl someone in Ronald mcdonald style onesie). Cool firework, light and fire displays throughout plus huge 'the guy' appeared and David did his death row act before diving straight into psycho all bloodied up. Only negative was some of the attendees chucking half filled beer and water bottles

Saw Roxy Music here, very good staffing and signage to find our seats and the other facilities for food and merchandise. We parked at the Printworks which is a few minutes walk away, but is quicker to get out of than the Arena car park when there is a big concert. The seats are okay but the legroom is not massive if you are a bit taller, so maybe consider getting a seat at the front of the block if so. I booked my tickets on Ticketmaster which was very good, I could check out where the seats were and even what the view would be like. I went for seats in block 210 row B, so up towards the back, and I was glad the screens were very good, because I couldn't really see what was going on on the stage very clearly, but then, I don't have brilliant eyesight so it might be me. The sound was very good, properly loud and dynamic, but not so much that my ears were left ringing like some gigs I've been to in small clubs. Overall, a modern venue, professionally run, and well designed.

Went to a seated concert here the other day and even seated the venue was fantastic. Understandably security is strict here so found it easier to not take a handbag. Drinks are a bit steep but to be expected for a large venue, but we were served really quickly so there's a pro to that. The venue itself is easy to get around and the sound quality at events has been executed wonderfully. It made for a really good show and 10/10 would attend again.

Plenty of car parking available in the city centre only a 15 min walk away and not at extortionate prices. Easy access to venue and loads of very helpful stewards dotted everywhere around the Arena. Well signed inside and easy to find your area and seat. A bit steep walking down to your seat be careful and take your time.

Staff were really helpful with suggestions of easier routes for me to get to with my crutch. Not keen on the steps down to the seats as they always feel too steep and no handrail but that's just me. Seats were comfy enough for the duration of the gig and great view of the stage.

We parked at the attached multistory car park, it is a flat Β£10 fee for an event which starts an hour before doors open. The venue staff were great and prices were very high. The biggest problems were from access by people who needed assistance with the steep steps to the seats. My advice would be get there early if you have mobility issues as it takes so long to be guided down to your seats that people were still struggling into the second act (and they were very steep). This was also a seated gig, which frankly killed the atmosphere.
