In order to avoid disappointment I booked tickets well in advance to visit this LEGOLAND Discovery Centre. Having arrived for 10.30 am on Black Friday at this LEGO discovery centre it appeared that all tickets had been sold out anyway, so without previously booked tickets would not be able to enter. Staff at the entrance, likewise all staff in the discovery centre, was very friendly and welcoming. The venue itself definitely met our expectations, although we thought it was going to be bigger, and our kids loved it. They did not want to leave even after 3 hours spent up there. Between entrance and the main play area there is a very nice exposition of LEGO build architecture linked with Manchester and popular tourist destinations in this region. Walking past this section there is massive room with various sections for children to explore and play with LEGO. There is a soft play area with slides, and a massive track with different foot-to-floor powered cars and rides, including Little Tikes Cars. There is 4D experience cinema, one carousel ride, playroom and cafe, which we did not have chance to visit. 3 hours went very quickly. Strongly recommended to visit with either young kids or teenagers who have interest in LEGO. As an adult enjoyed this visit as much as my own kids. Would be back at one point when in Manchester again. It's just a pitty nothing like this has not been opened in Scotland yet.

We visited Legoland with our two four-year-old boys and had a great time. The park is fantastic overall, with several soft-play areas, a small go-kart track, and plenty of zones for different kinds of fun. That said, four-year-olds might be a bit on the young side for most of the attractionsβ€”our boys ended up spending most of their time in the soft play, which we could have enjoyed elsewhere for a much lower cost. For slightly older kids, I think the experience would be even better. Still, our boys had loads of fun, and I can happily recommend it.

Great place with different activities to chose from. They have 2 rides, 4D cinema, VR seats with two options to chose from to watch, 3 different zones where there is Lego which can be used for building for different ages and interests, 3 play zones for different ages and a place to eat at. As well as loads of things already built from Lego on display I attached pictures of a very few of them.

We love it although being the summer holidays it was busy. We skipped a few things as we got a local pass so will be back. Went with an autistic 9 year old and a 6 year old. They adored the 4D cinema and the Ninjago temple. Kingdom Quest was also a favourite. A little disappointed that they don't take Lego vouchers in the shop (as that's what they sell!). Looking forward to the next visit

Went on a not so busy day. Lots to build for the kids, daughter had a brill time. Many things to do for children of all ages. The Minard was abit small and almost claustrophobic for me as not much room for fully enjoy the exhibits on display but clean place.

Enjoyable day with 9 and 5 year old children. Enough to keep them entertained for over 3 hours. Short queues, friendly and helpful staff. They particularly enjoyed VR ride, this was an extra Β£5 per person. Would recommend to others.

Went for my 9 y/o birthday and all three of our kids had a great time. Was there on a weekday and it was very quiet, didn't have to line up at anything and could do rides repeatedly. We did the VR experience which was an extra Β£5 each and it was good, but a bit short. I'd probably say worth it for the different experience. 4D cinema was good but the seats were quite tatty. Food deals for the kids were decently priced. It would be 4 stars if there wasn't so much pride stuff put up around the place.

Been here a couple of times, many years apart, two young boys loved it but can be very expensive lots of little additional activities takes makes this an expensive experience when you start doing everything especially with more than one child and the place isn’t the biggest once your done your done. But I’m sure if you ask the kids they’d give it 5 stars, unfortunately I’m no longer 8 and everything for me isn’t free any more, although slightly better value getting tickets to sea life and here at the same time

We enjoyed our morning at Legoland. I would recommend that this is for under 10s. It was quite in the morning but by lunch time but it was very busy. This place could be bigger and more. They could have more models and sections for older children. The creative station was good. However we struggled to hear her at times over the noise from outside. It would have hone better if she build it and had another member of staff to help her. Unfortunately the bag my daughter got did not have all the parts. This was sorted out but it took some time. Unsure if we will be back as my youngest is 9 and my older two struggled. You promote lego for anyone up to 99 years old, I think you should have areas for older children to be able to build and play.

We’ve made multiple visits here and my son has always loved it. Wait at the start is pretty quick. To begin there’s an interacting β€˜making Lego’ section. After this they have a ride. Then a small section with model Alton towers, Blackpool pleasure beach and Man City. It then opens up into a large free roam area with 2 soft play areas for inter kids. There’s a car marking section with ramps to test them. There’s another ride and a coffee room.
